Three of the homes are in Tucson, in the Catalina Foothills and Tanque Verde, and the other two are in Oro Valley and in Marana’s Dove Mountain.
Every one of the five is a single-story home, and all were built between 1995 and 2006. The styles range from contemporary and modern to Santa Fe, and the settings from a guard-gated foothills enclave to a golf course community.
No. 1 — $2,525,000 · 1893 E Quiet Canyon Dr, Tucson, Arizona

The top sale of the week was a contemporary home in Pima Canyon Estates, a guard-gated community in the Catalina Foothills, which sold for $2,525,000. Designed by Marc Soloway and built in 2005, it is the largest home in this Top 5, with 6,054 square feet on a single level. It also has the most bedrooms of the five, with six, along with five bathrooms, four full and one half, on 0.90 acres.
The entry has a coffered ceiling, travertine floors and large picture windows that take in the mountains, the desert and the lights of the city. Stone cladding is used both inside and outside the home. The kitchen has an island with its own sink, a beverage center, a breakfast nook and a walk-in pantry. The primary suite has a gas fireplace, a small private patio and an attached gym, and its bath has a Jacuzzi tub and a walk-in shower. An eight-seat theater room was recently upgraded.
