The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Worcester metro area for the week ending October 18, 2026, came from five towns: Boylston, Southborough, Webster, Shrewsbury and Bolton. Together they totaled $8.01 million.
All five are single-family homes built between 1983 and 2017. The list runs from a 1980s contemporary with a river view to a lakefront home finished less than a decade ago, and the last two places on it are shared by a pair of Colonials that each sold for $1,275,000.
No. 1 — $2,085,000 · 5 Redwood Cir, Boylston, Massachusetts

The top sale of the week was a contemporary in Boylston designed by Masiello, a home where the architecture is the point. It sold for $2,085,000. Built in 2013 on a cul-de-sac, it sits on 4.46 acres that border a private golf course and the home has views of the course.
The design pairs midcentury modern lines with interiors drawn from Asian traditions, and the landscape is the work of Zen Associates. Large expanses of glass are framed in black aluminum-clad wood windows and doors, and custom walnut millwork runs through the rooms. The kitchen is built around an island with a waterfall edge and opens to the dining and living areas. An elevator reaches every level, the home has whole-house shading and sound wiring, and there is a wet bar.
The home has four bedrooms, three full baths and two half baths in 3,243 square feet, along with two fireplaces, one of them in the living room. Outside are terraces, a covered patio, a garden, stone walls and specimen plantings, and the heated, oversized garage has room for three cars.
