A custom home perched in the mountains above Shaver Lake, with views reaching across Bald Mountain, Mineral King Canyon and the Sawtooth Mountain Range, sold for $1.43 million, the highest-priced residential closing publicly reported in the Fresno, California metro area for the week ending August 16, 2026. The week’s five leading reported sales came to $5.12 million combined.

The five sales span Shaver Lake, Kerman, Clovis, Bass Lake and Fresno, with mountain properties at Shaver Lake and Bass Lake taking the No. 1 and No. 4 positions, and their build years run from 1981 to 2022.
