York, Pennsylvania Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: New Construction in Dillsburg Leads at $1 Million

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the York metro area for the week ending October 11, 2026, totaled $3.36 million. All five were single-family homes in York County: two in Dillsburg and one each in Felton, Fawn Grove and Stewartstown.

New construction set the tone, with three of the five built this year. The other two offered something different, from open country with outbuildings to a large family home on several acres.

No. 1 — $1,000,000 · 34 Cold Springs Rd, Dillsburg, Pennsylvania

Top home sale No. 1 in the York metro area β€” 34 Cold Springs Rd, Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, week ending October 11, 2026

A newly built Craftsman-style home at 34 Cold Springs Road in Dillsburg was the week’s highest-priced sale, closing at $1,000,000, its full asking price. Cassell Homes built it on 3.54 secluded, wooded acres in the Northern York School District, close to Route 15 and Range End Golf Course. Stone and shake siding cover the exterior, and an oversized three-car garage is attached at the side.

Inside, the builder’s custom timber framing sets the character, with exposed beams, wood ceilings and vaulted and cathedral ceilings. The open foyer takes in plenty of natural light. White oak hardwood floors run through the main rooms, finished with crown molding and wainscoting, and a Pennsylvania fieldstone fireplace burns propane. A private office or den sits behind French doors. The kitchen has Forno appliances, granite counters, custom cabinets, a large island and a walk-in pantry.

The home has five bedrooms, the most of the five sales, along with three full baths and one half bath in 4,033 square feet. The primary suite is on the first floor, with a walk-in closet and a bath with a tiled shower, a double vanity and a soaking tub; the laundry is on that floor as well. Upstairs are a loft and four more bedrooms, each with its own walk-in closet. The full basement has high ceilings and could be finished later. Outdoors, there is a covered front porch and a covered patio that looks out over the woods. The property last sold for $145,000 in 2025, before the current house was built.

JON COLLINS of Real Estate Excel was the listing agent, and Emillie Albrecht of Real of Pennsylvania represented the buyer.

Top home sale No. 2 in the York metro area β€” 8042 Bobs Rd, Felton, Pennsylvania, week ending October 11, 2026

The largest piece of land on the list, 12.04 acres, came with the oldest home. The property at 8042 Bobs Road in Felton, in East Hopewell Township, sold for $670,000. Its farmhouse-style home dates to 1900 and has four bedrooms and one bathroom in 1,536 square feet.

Several outbuildings add to its working character. A two-story workshop has its own basement, electrical service and a mini-split system. There is also a spring house, a garden shed with power, a chicken shed and more than one greenhouse. At the home itself, a hot tub sits on the front porch, and there is an outdoor shower. Inside are a living room with hardwood floors, a kitchen with a peninsula, an office and an open staircase, and the basement can be reached from inside and out.
