The highest-priced home sales reported in Daytona Beach / Volusia County, Florida for the week ending November 1, 2026 came from two coastal cities. Three of the five were in New Smyrna Beach and two were in Ormond Beach, and together they totaled $11.215 million.
The group spans more than a century of building, from a home finished within the past couple of years to a historic estate with its own name. Between them are a gated rural estate, a home on the oceanfront and a riverfront home with its own dock.
No. 1 — $2,800,000 · 1309 S Atlantic Avenue, New Smyrna Beach, Florida

The week’s top sale was a newly built home in the Coronado Beach neighborhood of New Smyrna Beach. Completed in 2025, it is the newest home in this Top 5, and it sold furnished for $2,800,000.
The contemporary design is laid out as two living units joined by a single interior door, so the home can be used as one residence or as two. The west unit is on one level, with its own laundry, courtyard and parking. The east unit rises two stories and has an attached garage, three balconies, and both an indoor and an outdoor kitchen. Both floors are built of reinforced block, with hurricane impact windows and sliders.
In all, the home has four bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath in 2,737 square feet, on a 5,000-square-foot lot, the smallest in the group. Its kitchen centers on a large quartz island with a waterfall edge, set against solid wood cabinetry, and the oceanview living room opens onto a covered, screened balcony. A west-facing covered terrace with a gas grill and a wet bar has an open-air terrace next to it, shaded by a retractable awning, and glass railings keep the views clear. The primary suite is upstairs, with a large walk-in closet, a bath with dual vanities and a frameless glass shower, and a full-size laundry of its own.
The beach walkover is a few steps away, Flagler Avenue is less than a mile off, and historic Canal Street is just over the bridge. The property last sold for $410,000 in 2021, before the current house was built.
Scott Yurchison of COLLADO REAL ESTATE was the listing agent for the week’s highest-priced sale, and Rustie Howell-Reilly of WEICHERT, REALTORS HALLMARK PR represented the buyer.
