The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Harrisburg metro area for the week ending October 18, 2026, added up to $3.96 million. All five are single-family homes, spread across Hershey, Camp Hill, Middletown and Mechanicsburg, in Dauphin and Cumberland counties.
The group runs from a 1957 ranch in downtown Hershey to a home in Mechanicsburg’s Peninsula neighborhood that was built in 2022. Every one of the five went under contract within five days of being listed, and four sold for more than their asking prices. Coldwell Banker Realty listed the top two sales, and Iron Valley Real Estate of Central PA listed two others.
No. 1 — $1,200,000 · 503 Maple Ave, Hershey, Pennsylvania

The top sale of the week is also the oldest home in the group: a brick ranch built in 1957 in the Hershey Downtown neighborhood, a few minutes from the Medical Center. It sold for $1,200,000.
Living here is on one floor. All three bedrooms are on the main level, along with an open plan under vaulted ceilings and floors of ash hardwood. The kitchen is built around an oversized island, and a gas fireplace imported from France warms the living space. The primary suite has an office or sitting area, a bath with a walk-in shower and a soaking tub, and a fireplace that opens to two sides and looks out to the pool. In all, the home has 2,893 square feet, two bathrooms and two fireplaces, one wood-burning and one gas, plus a partially finished lower level with room for storage or a home theater.
Outside, the backyard on the 0.34-acre lot is paved for outdoor living around a heated gunite pool, and the yard catches the sunset. The property last sold for $848,000 in 2023.
The home went under contract five days after it was listed and sold $50,000 above its $1.15 million asking price. AMBER BRANCHI of Coldwell Banker Realty was the listing agent, and Sharon Weaber of Protus Realty, Inc. represented the buyer.

The open kitchen centers on a big island with built-in cabinets and runs straight into the main living areas. Four of the five bedrooms are on the main level, and the home has three bathrooms.
