The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Cleveland metro area for the week ending October 18, 2026, came to a combined $7.99 million. The list reaches from Geauga County horse country to a city neighborhood a short drive from Downtown, and from a 1960s Cape Cod to a new home that is still to be built.
Novelty, Cleveland and Hinckley each have one sale in the group. Every sale is a single-family home, and one of the five is new construction.
No. 1 — $2,050,000 · 9823 Music St, Novelty, Ohio

The top sale of the week is a country estate on 25 acres of meadow and woods in Novelty, the largest property in this Top 5. The home at 9823 Music Street sold for $2,050,000.
Builder Bruce Thomas built the brick and cedar Cape Cod in 1969, and its current owners have since reworked the interior and landscaped the grounds. Water is the defining feature of the setting. The property has a fishing pond, and floor-to-ceiling windows look out over the water and the trees; the listing describes two naturally fed lakes, one shared at the front of the home and a private one behind it. The land is set up for horses, and a barn adds an entertainment space on its upper level with storage below.
Inside, the home has walnut floors, high ceilings and two fireplaces, and the primary suite has a sitting room with a fireplace. The kitchen was recently refreshed with custom cabinetry, quartz counters and an induction range, and it opens to a dining area. A mudroom with a farm sink and built-ins sits near a first-floor laundry, and the partially finished lower level includes an office. The home has four bedrooms and eight bathrooms, six full and two half, the most bathrooms of the five, along with geothermal heating and cooling and garage space for four cars. Terraces and patios are placed around the grounds. The property last sold for $800,000 in 2023.
Karen A Eagle of Elite Sotheby’s International Realty was the listing agent, and Rachel D Liberati of Howard Hanna represented the buyer. Eagle listed two of the homes in this week’s Top 5, the first-place sale and the fourth.

No. 2 — $1,950,000 · 260 Bramley Ct, Chagrin Falls, Ohio

In the Chagrin Meadows neighborhood of Chagrin Falls, a Colonial at 260 Bramley Court backs directly onto the Chagrin River and sits adjacent to the Cleveland Metroparks. It sold for $1,950,000.
The home was custom built in 2014 on a 0.84-acre lot, and the outdoor space is where much of its appeal lies. A heated gunite pool sits in a fenced yard with a stone fire pit and a saltwater hot tub, and a covered porch has its own fireplace. The property also has views of the river. The property last sold for $195,000 in 2013, before the current home was built.
The interior offers 6,204 square feet, with four bedrooms and five bathrooms, four full and one half. A fireplace warms the family room, and the full basement is finished. The home is within the village, near its shops, restaurants and parks.

No. 3 — $1,525,000 · 2100 W 17th St, Cleveland, Ohio

The city sale of the week is a contemporary home at 2100 West 17th Street in Duck Island, a Cleveland neighborhood a few minutes from Ohio City, Tremont and Downtown. Built in 2019 with a stucco exterior, it sold for $1,525,000 and went under contract seven days after it was listed.
The home makes much of a compact city lot of 4,486 square feet, the smallest in this group. An office opens off the foyer, and the main living area has hardwood floors and walls of windows. The kitchen centers on a honed charcoal soapstone island, with quartz counters and a Wolf and Sub-Zero appliance package that includes a six-burner range and a wine cooler. On the second floor, the primary suite has two walk-in closets and a bath with heated porcelain floors.
The upper levels are built for entertaining. A third-floor lounge has a custom wine wall, a cherry cigar humidor and a full bar, and it leads out to a rooftop terrace with a retractable awning, a fire pit and a built-in gas grill. Downstairs, the finished basement adds a workout room and another bar. An attached carriage house has its own kitchen, two living areas and a bedroom suite.
In all, the home has 4,821 square feet, five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, four full and three half, plus a three-car garage. Carolyn M Bentley and Greg P Fusco, both of Howard Hanna, were the listing agents. Robin M Rohrich of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Stouffer Realty represented the buyer.

No. 5 — $1,194,610 · 2570 Prairie Ln, Hinckley, Ohio

The one new-construction sale of the week is a home still to be built at 2570 Prairie Lane in the Prarie Visa community of Hinckley, in Medina County. It sold for $1,194,610, above its asking price of $1.01 million, after going under contract four days after it was listed.

The plans call for a Cape Cod and Colonial design with a stone front, a covered front porch and a four-car garage that faces the side. A two-story entry with floor-to-ceiling windows leads into an open layout, and a separate prep kitchen, which the plan calls a dirty kitchen, sits apart from the main kitchen, which has an island.
