
The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Greenville, South Carolina metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, totaled a combined $8.675 million. Three of the five were in Pickens County, and two of those were in The Reserve At Lake Keowee in Sunset. The other two were in Greenville itself.
The group runs from a waterfront home on the lake to a country estate in Six Mile with the largest lot of the five, and two of the sales closed at exactly the same price.
No. 1 — $2,525,000 · 129 Burwood Ct, Sunset, South Carolina

The top sale of the week was a waterfront home on a cove of Lake Keowee in The Reserve At Lake Keowee, which sold for $2,525,000. Built in 2016 in a cottage and ranch style, the one-story home has cement siding, a boat dock and views of both the water and the mountains, on a wooded 1.15-acre lot.
The great room opens to the dining area and the kitchen, and a sunroom looks out over the lake. The primary suite is on the main level, with its own bath and a walk-in closet, and there is a gas fireplace, a front porch and a grill deck. The finished, heated lower level has walk-out access. There, a recreation room with a sink and a coffee bar opens onto a covered patio, and a walk-through beverage pantry leads to a wine cellar. The three guest bedrooms are on that level as well. In all, the home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, three full and one half, in 3,210 square feet, along with a whole-house generator.
The community has a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course and a marina, as well as a clubhouse, a pool, tennis and pickleball courts and hiking trails. The property last sold for $275,000 in 2014, before the current home was built.

No. 2 — $1,575,000 · 1201 Parkins Mill Rd, Greenville, South Carolina

In Gower Estates, a traditional brick home on a 0.86-acre corner lot sold for $1,575,000. Its six bedrooms are the most of any home in this week’s Top 5, and three of them are on the main level of the two-story home. It has five full bathrooms and 5,400 square feet of living space, with a masonry fireplace and bookcases inside and a front porch, a circular driveway and an attached two-car garage outside.
The home went under contract 12 days after it was listed. Rex Carter of Lil Glenn Co, LLC was the listing agent, and Keith Boling of BHHS C Dan Joyner – Augusta Rd B represented the buyer.

No. 3 — $1,550,000 · 2962 Walhalla Hwy, Six Mile, South Carolina

The largest property in the Top 5 is a 38.88-acre country estate in Six Mile, a mix of open pasture, woods and running water with mountain views and river access. Two streams cross the land. One is fed by a spring, and the other runs past rhododendron on its banks and over a waterfall. The property also includes a 1,500-square-foot guest house and a six-stall horse barn. It sold for $1,550,000, the same price as the No. 4 sale.
A drive lined with mature oaks leads to the main residence, a brick Georgian home built in 1995. At 5,700 square feet, it has the most living space of the five, with five bedrooms and five bathrooms, four full and one half. The rooms include formal living and dining rooms, a library paneled in cherry wood, a media room and a wine cellar, with oak floors and fine moldings. The kitchen has a Thermador six-burner range with an indoor grill, a pair of Thermador wall ovens, a full-size Sub-Zero refrigerator and freezer and a 10-by-4-foot island with a lowered baking station, plus a walk-in pantry.
The primary suite is upstairs, with a sitting area, a gas-log fireplace, built-in bookshelves and a tray ceiling trimmed in dentil molding. The home also has a finished walk-out basement, a screened porch, a deck and a patio. The estate is 20 minutes from Clemson and 10 from Pickens. The property last sold for $900,000 in 2019.

No. 4 — $1,550,000 · 308 Chamblee Blvd, Greenville, South Carolina

Claremont is a gated community in Greenville with about 15 acres of preserved green space. Residents also have walking trails, a pool, a clubhouse, a playground and Maxwell Park. This Craftsman-style brick home in the community was custom built in 2020 and sold for $1,550,000. The property last sold for $140,000 in 2017, before the current home was built.
Inside, hardwood floors run through the home, and the home has 12-foot coffered ceilings and a gas fireplace. The kitchen has a large island, quartz and granite counters and a walk-in pantry with a second refrigerator, and the living and dining areas open to it. Each of the five bedrooms has its own bath. Two of the suites are on the main level, including a primary suite with an oversized walk-in shower and a walk-in closet. Upstairs are a second primary suite, two more bedrooms, a media room, a flex space and a second laundry room. The home has 4,647 square feet, five full bathrooms and a three-car garage.
Outside, a screened porch has its own gas fireplace and a custom swing bed.

No. 5 — $1,475,000 · 124 Guest House Ct, Sunset, South Carolina

A second sale in The Reserve At Lake Keowee rounded out the Top 5. The cottage, on a wooded cul-de-sac lot of 0.51 acres, sold for $1,475,000. It was built in 2011 by Sexton Griffith and is finished in stone, stucco and wood siding.
The great room has vaulted ceilings and Mill Creek post-and-beam construction, and the dining area opens to it. A two-sided masonry fireplace, which burns both gas and wood, stands between the great room and the screened porch. The primary suite and a guest suite are both on the main level, and the home also has an office. The lower level has a den, a wet bar area and a large storage room. The home has three bedrooms, three full bathrooms and 3,163 square feet, and there is a separate garage for a golf cart. The golf range and the Orchard House are a short walk away. The property last sold for $600,000 in 2013.
