Skaneateles, Syracuse, Fayetteville, Cicero and Marcellus each had one of the week's top sales, with prices from $670,000 to $1,060,000.

Syracuse, New York Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Skaneateles Leads the Week at $1.1 Million

These are the highest-priced home sales reported in the Syracuse, New York metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026. Together the five sales came to $4.128 million. All five are single-family homes in Onondaga County, and agents at Howard Hanna Real Estate listed four of them.

No. 1 — $1,060,000 · 26 E Elizabeth St, Skaneateles, New York

The week’s top sale was a home in the village of Skaneateles that was built in 1890 and has since been rebuilt from the foundation up. It sold for $1,060,000. The two-story home has four bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath, and 2,400 square feet on a pie-shaped lot of 0.28 acres.

The home has a front porch made for sitting. Inside, white oak floors run through the living and dining areas of an open plan, and large windows bring in daylight. The kitchen has CraftMaid cabinets, quartz counters and a big center island with extra storage and seats. A laundry and pantry area sits just off the kitchen. The entry from the heated garage is set up as a mudroom, with shiplap walls, a built-in bench and a half bath.

Upstairs, the primary suite has a walk-in closet fitted with custom shelving, and its bath has a double vanity, a walk-in shower enclosed in glass and a separate water closet. The other three bedrooms have hardwood floors and custom closets. Floors are heated throughout the home. The garage leads directly to the backyard, which has a bluestone patio and is fully fenced.
