
These are the highest-priced home sales reported in the Salisbury, Maryland metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, and together the five sold for $15.21 million. All five are single-family homes in Sussex County, Delaware: three in Rehoboth Beach, one in Bethany Beach and one in Lewes.
No. 1 — $3,612,500 · 91 Blackpool Rd, Rehoboth Beach, Delaware

The week’s top sale is a French country-style home along Bald Eagle Lagoon in the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club, with direct access to Rehoboth Bay. It sold for $3,612,500. Built in 2015, the one-story home has four bedrooms, all on the main level, along with three full baths and a half bath in 3,616 square feet on a 0.36-acre lot.
A cupola tops the entry foyer, and the open living spaces rise under vaulted and beamed ceilings. The floors include radiant-heated marble and hardwood, and the baths are finished in marble. The kitchen has an ILVE French gas range, two commercial-grade refrigerators, marble countertops and a large pantry, and it opens to the dining area and the living room. There is also a wet bar with a beverage refrigerator and an ice maker, as well as a den. A short distance away in the same community, the Mediterranean-style home at 145 Torquay Court sold for $3,400,000. Built in 1999, it is the oldest of the week’s five homes. The property last sold for $225,000 in 1998, before the current home was built.
The home looks out on Bald Eagle Creek and has 98 feet of water frontage with direct access to navigable canals. Its private dock is fitted with an electric hoist, and an in-ground gunite pool is surrounded by landscaping. Inside are four bedrooms, three full baths and a half bath, and two gas fireplaces in 4,200 square feet on two stories. The 0.33-acre lot has a three-car garage that faces the side.

In North Rehoboth, the home at 45 Sussex Street sits three blocks from the ocean, within walking distance of the boardwalk and of shops, coffee shops and restaurants. It sold for $2,800,000. The contemporary home is on a bulkheaded canal lot of 6,098 square feet, with views of the canal and the water. It has five bedrooms, four of them on the main level, and four bathrooms in 3,205 square feet on three stories, with an elevator, a fireplace and an oversized three-car garage. The property last sold for $1.15 million in 2025, before the current home was built.

The largest home of the week is in Cape Shores in Lewes, steps from the community’s private beach and pool. Lane Builders built the coastal contemporary home in 2022, and it sold for $2,650,000. It has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms, the most of the five, in 5,650 square feet on three stories on a 7,241-square-foot lot. The property last sold for $700,000 in 2020, before the current home was built.
Every bedroom has its own bath, and an elevator serves all three levels. The main living space is on the top level, where the kitchen has Sub-Zero, Wolf and Bosch appliances, custom cabinetry, a center island and a large walk-in pantry. The home also has two family rooms and two laundry rooms. On the patio level, a recreation room has a second kitchen set behind custom barn doors.
The top floor opens to an outdoor living area with a screened porch and a built-in gas grill, and a rooftop deck takes in views of the bay. The grounds have bluestone walkways and landscape lighting. For days at the beach there are two outdoor showers and a storage room with its own exterior access, and the home has a two-car garage.
