
The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Wilmington, North Carolina metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $13.075 million.
Four of the five were in Wrightsville Beach and Oak Island, two in each, and the fifth was in Landfall in Wilmington. Three of the sales were in New Hanover County and two in Brunswick County. All five are single-family homes, built between 1981 and 2020, and in two of the sales the same agent was on both sides.
No. 1 — $3,750,000 · 19 E Charlotte Street, Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina

The week’s top sale is a two-story oceanfront home in Wrightsville Beach that sold for $3,750,000. Built in 1998 on an ocean-side lot with dunes, it is the smallest of the five by both living area and lot size, with 2,652 square feet of living space on a lot of 4,792 square feet.
On the main level, a covered porch runs the full width of the home, with views of the beach and the Atlantic, and a sun deck sits on the top floor. A second porch on the west side catches the sunset, and there is a large outdoor shower with a dressing room. Inside, the plan is open, and the rooms on the ocean side have long banks of windows. The home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, three full and one half, with the primary bedroom downstairs. Beneath the home are parking and a large storage room for bikes and boards.
The home is mid-island, within walking or biking distance of parks, shops and restaurants. Access is through a deeded 15-foot easement on the adjoining parcel. The listing describes the place as a longtime family retreat.

The home has five bedrooms and four bathrooms, three full and one half, in 3,031 square feet on two stories. It has high ceilings, an elevator and a two-car garage. The lot covers 0.46 acres, with a broad lawn and several decks. A covered porch has room for dining outside, and a deck on top of the dune has built-in benches and ocean views. The property last sold for $810,000 in 2020.

The oldest and the largest home of the five sold furnished for $2,390,000. Built in 1981 on Oak Island and known as Copacetic, it has 5,113 square feet of living space and six bedrooms, the most in the group, along with four bathrooms.
The home is on a canal, on a second-row, sound-side lot of 9,888 square feet with a bulkhead, a private dock and a boat lift. It has views of the ocean, the marsh, the canal and the Intracoastal Waterway.
The floor plan is reversed. From the ground-floor entry, an elevator and a staircase rise to the first living level, where a large media and game room with a pool table sits alongside the primary suite and a guest room. The upper level has three more guest rooms and a second suite with its own deck. It also has one large open space for the kitchen, the living room and a dining room whose table seats 14, all with water views.

The newest home of the five, a brick home built in 2020 in Landfall, overlooks the first green of the Nicklaus Ocean Course and sold for $2,040,000. It sits on a cul-de-sac inside the gated community, on 0.59 acres, the largest lot in the group.
The living room has custom built-ins and an antique English marble fireplace surround. The primary suite is on the first floor, along with an office and the laundry room, and the kitchen has a large island, a breakfast nook, a walk-in pantry and GE CafΓ© and Miele appliances. Upstairs are three guest bedrooms, three full baths and a bonus room. In all, the home has four bedrooms and five bathrooms, four full and one half, in 3,960 square feet, with a three-car garage.
A four-season sunroom looks out over landscaped grounds. The backyard has a saltwater pool and a koi pond, along with a patio, a pergola and an outdoor fireplace, and a private well supplies water for irrigation. The property last sold for $280,000 in 2018, before the current house was built.
