
Four of the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Richmond metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, were in the city of Richmond, and the fifth was in Henrico. Together the five sold for a combined $9.42 million.
The group spans more than seven decades of building, from a home finished in 1951 to one completed this year, and ranges from a lot of 6,185 square feet in the city to 4.33 acres on the river. Long & Foster REALTORS listed the two highest-priced sales.
No. 1 — $2,800,000 · 4912 Lockgreen Cir, Richmond, Virginia

The home at 4912 Lockgreen Circle in Lockgreen was built in 1999, but little of the original interior remains. It was renovated down to the studs for its most recent owners, with SMS Architects and Bridget Beari Designs behind the work, and it sold for $2,800,000, the highest price of the week.
A vaulted foyer with custom millwork and arched openings leads to a formal dining room and a living room with a gas fireplace. The kitchen has Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, a quartz island, custom cabinetry and a walk-in pantry, and it opens to a family room with a coffered ceiling and built-ins. French doors from the family room lead to a vaulted screened porch floored in bluestone.
The home has four bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath, and 4,589 square feet of living space on 0.43 acres, with views of water. The primary suite is on the first floor and has two custom walk-in closets. Each of the three bedrooms upstairs has its own bath, and an elevator serves both floors. A finished, conditioned storage room with custom shelving and a walk-up attic add space, and outside there are professionally designed landscaping, irrigation and a cobblestone-lined driveway. The property last sold for $1.525 million in 2019.
The home went under contract 10 days after it was listed and sold $50,000 above its asking price of $2.75 million. No. 2 — $1,900,000 · 203 W Hillcrest Ave, Richmond, Virginia

Built in 1951, the home at 203 West Hillcrest Avenue in Hillcrest is the oldest of the five, and at 6,723 square feet it also has the most living space. It has the most bedrooms, six, and the most bathrooms, seven, of which five are full baths and two are half baths, on a lot of 0.40 acres. It sold for $1,900,000.
A covered front porch leads inside to formal and everyday rooms alike: a sunroom, a home office, a family room and a dining room fitted with a marble dry bar and a beverage center. The kitchen has double wall ovens, a Fisher & Paykel five-burner cooktop, a Sub-Zero refrigerator, granite countertops and a large center island, and its breakfast area looks out to an outdoor grilling station.

No. 3 — $1,700,000 · 7301 Riverside Dr, Richmond, Virginia

The newest home in this week’s Top 5 was finished in 2026 at 508 Westview Avenue in Westhampton. It is one of seven homes in The Enclave at Westview, a small community at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in Richmond’s Near West End, and it stands at the community’s entrance. Sidewalks and paths connect the community directly to Patterson, Granite and Libbie Avenues. The home sold for $1,519,068.
