The coast set the pace in the Providence metro area for the week ending October 18, 2026. These are the highest-priced home sales reported for the period, and together the five came to $16.539 million. Four are in Washington County, in Block Island, Charlestown, Narragansett and South Kingstown, and the fifth is in Providence.
The group runs from a beach-community home built in 1950 to one finished in 2025, and in two of the five sales the same agent was on both sides.

The week’s top sale is on Block Island’s West Side, where a shingled Colonial on a cul-de-sac sold for $6,750,000. Preserved land surrounds the property on all sides, and the water views look west across the Atlantic toward the far-off shores of Rhode Island, Connecticut and New York.
Built in 2008, the home has 4,591 square feet of living space, the largest in this Top 5, on a 1.98-acre lot that is also the largest of the five.
