
The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Mobile, Alabama metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, added up to $2.96 million. All five were single-family homes in Mobile County, four of them in the city of Mobile and one on Dauphin Island.
The list runs from a 1950s ranch with a pool to a bayfront home with its own boat lift, and it includes a cottage with a guest house and a Colonial a short walk from the Village of Spring Hill.
No. 1 — $780,000 · 65 Byrnes Blvd, Mobile, Alabama

The top sale of the week was a 1955 ranch at 65 Byrnes Boulevard in New Country Club Estates, which sold for $780,000. With 5,670 square feet of living space, it was the largest of the five homes. It has five bedrooms and six bathrooms on a lot of 0.58 acres.
The kitchen was recently updated and is built around a large island with seating at a breakfast bar, with a breakfast nook alongside. Hardwood floors run through the living room, which opens into a sunroom. The home has two fireplaces, one in the living room and one in the family room, and the family room opens straight out to the backyard. There is also a wet bar.
The bedrooms follow a split plan. The primary suite has a newly renovated bathroom and a large walk-in closet, and two other bedrooms each have their own bath, with cedar closets. Outside, a fenced in-ground pool sits in the private backyard, and there is a patio and a front porch. The property last sold for $610,000 in 2021.

The only sale of the five outside the city of Mobile was a Creole-style home at 511 Buchanan Drive in the Pass Drury neighborhood of Dauphin Island, which sold for $625,000. Built in 1993, it is on the east end of the island, on Buchanan Bay, with views of Mobile Bay and the Dauphin Island Bridge. The home is on a cul-de-sac, and the property has a bulkhead, a private dock and a boat lift.
The home has three bedrooms, four bathrooms and 2,620 square feet on two stories. Past a covered front porch, the dining room opens into a great room under vaulted ceilings, where a wall of picture windows looks out over the water. The kitchen has white cabinetry, a large center island and a pass-through bar.
The primary suite is on the main level, with French doors out to the waterfront deck and a bath with double vanities, a jetted tub and a walk-in shower. Upstairs is an open loft, and another bedroom has its own bath and walk-in closet. A screened porch leads onto a deck that runs across the back of the home, and a mature oak shades the backyard. The attached garage has a rear door that opens toward the water.
