Three homes on lakefront lots, an oceanfront condominium and a home in a gated Murrells Inlet community made up the week's top sales.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Murrells Inlet Home Leads the Week at $1.7 Million

These were the highest-priced home sales reported in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, and together the five sold for $6.66 million. Four of them were in Myrtle Beach and one was in Murrells Inlet. The group includes four single-family homes and one condominium, and one of the homes is new construction.

No. 1 — $1,700,000 · 61 Pigeon Forge Ct., Murrells Inlet, South Carolina

The top sale of the week was in Collins Creek Landing, a gated community in Murrells Inlet, where a home built in 2021 by Port City Homes sold for $1,700,000. It stands on a one-acre lot on a cul-de-sac and has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and 4,707 square feet, the most bedrooms and the largest living area among the five sales.

The kitchen has two islands, a gas cooktop, wall ovens, custom cabinetry and a custom hood vent, with leather-finished counters of Fantasy Brown natural stone. A butler’s pantry and a prep area are part of the kitchen, and a formal dining room with a bar is just off it. The family room has a vaulted, beamed ceiling and a fireplace. The primary suite has the same kind of ceiling, along with a sitting area and two walk-in closets, and three more bedrooms are on the first level. Upstairs, a bonus room that can serve as the fifth bedroom has its own full bath. There are separate his-and-hers home offices, and the three-car garage includes a workshop.

Outside, the home has a front porch and a screened back porch with a built-in grill, and a fenced gunite pool with a spa. Residents of Collins Creek Landing share a pool and clubhouse, an outdoor kitchen, a playground, a nature trail and boat storage, and a boat launch with docks gives access to the Waccamaw River and the Intracoastal Waterway. The property last sold in 2019 for $90,000, before the current home was built.

On the 23rd floor of Margate Tower at Kingston Plantation, an oceanfront condominium sold fully furnished for $1,355,000. It is the only condominium in this Top 5, and with a building dating to 2004 it is also the oldest property of the five.

The residence follows the building’s 07 floor plan and has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,509 square feet, the smallest living area in the group, along with a balcony and views of the ocean. It was renovated from top to bottom, with new appliances, updated lighting and upgraded televisions, and it came with new furniture. Floors are wood, tile and carpet. The gated tower has security, elevators, garage parking, an outdoor pool, a clubhouse and tennis courts. The condominium last sold in 2015 for $710,000.

In Plantation Lakes, a brick home of traditional design on a lakefront corner lot of 0.57 acre sold for $1,268,000. Built in 2018, it has four bedrooms and 4,296 square feet, and its six bathrooms, four full and two half, are the most of any home in this Top 5.

Much of the home’s living is on the first floor, which has three separate living areas, each close to the kitchen. The primary suite is downstairs and includes a sitting area, and two more bedrooms on that floor each have a full bath and are set apart from the primary suite. An office, a laundry room and a guest bathroom are also downstairs. Above the three-car garage is a self-contained set of rooms with a second family room, the fourth bedroom and a full bathroom, a natural place for guests or visiting family. The home also has a fireplace, front and rear porches and a patio.

Plantation Lakes has a boat dock, a clubhouse, tennis courts and a community pool. The property last sold in 2021 for $932,000.

The covered back porch can be closed in with screens that work by remote control. The home was built in 2021 of masonry and stucco and sits on a cul-de-sac in The Bluffs on the Waterway, a gated community, on a 10,454-square-foot lot with a pond and lake views.

The home has four bedrooms, three full baths and a half bath, 2,777 square feet, a primary suite on the main level, a balcony, a front porch and a two-car attached garage, with wood and tile floors and a HardiPlank exterior.

Living Dunes is a community of low-country-style homes built by CRG Homes. Residents have a zero-entry, free-form pool with a tanning shelf, a clubhouse, miles of walking trails, 10 acres of lakes and green space, and the community includes beach rights.
