Lakeland, Florida Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Renovated Crescent Woods Home Leads at $1.3 Million

A gated South Lakeland enclave, a 55-and-over golf community and a small Fort Meade farm all turned up among the week's priciest sales.

Lakeland, Florida Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Renovated Crescent Woods Home Leads at $1.3 Million

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Lakeland metro area for the week ending October 18, 2026, added up to $4.77 million, and no two of them were in the same city. All five are in Polk County, spread across Lakeland, Bartow, Auburndale, Poinciana and Fort Meade.

Every one is a single-family home built between 2004 and 2012. Three are single-story homes and two have a second floor, and the settings range from gated streets of custom homes to open pasture.

No. 1 — $1,275,000 · 6774 Crescent Woods Circle, Lakeland, Florida

Top home sale No. 1 in the Lakeland metro area β€” 6774 Crescent Woods Circle, Lakeland, Florida, week ending October 18, 2026

The week’s top sale came from Crescent Woods, a gated enclave of 48 custom homes in South Lakeland, where this home sold for $1,275,000. Rick Strawbridge built it in 2008, and Lakeland builder Olivera Construction carried out an extensive renovation in 2025.

That renovation is most visible in the kitchen, which was redone with custom solid wood cabinetry and Dolomite stone on the counters and backsplash. A Wolf dual-fuel range and hood share the room with a Sub-Zero refrigerator, and there is a wine cooler as well as a separate beverage cooler. Elsewhere the interior has new hardwood floors, crown molding, designer lighting, high ceilings and an office. The primary bedroom is on the main floor, and its bath was fully rebuilt with custom cabinetry and a walk-in shower behind frameless glass. Upstairs is a large bonus room with its own full bath and closet.

With 4,298 square feet of living space, it is the largest of the five homes, and its five bedrooms are the most in the group. It also has four bathrooms, a three-car attached garage and a 0.60-acre lot. Out back, a travertine lanai and pool deck surround a heated saltwater pool under a freshly rescreened enclosure. The outdoor kitchen was remodeled with the same Dolomite stone used indoors, and there is an outdoor shower too. The property last sold in 2025 for $963,500.

John Hubbert, Jr of BHHS FLORIDA PROPERTIES GROUP was on both sides of the sale, serving as the listing agent and representing the buyer.

No. 2 — $970,000 · 1890 E F Griffin Road, Bartow, Florida

Top home sale No. 2 in the Lakeland metro area β€” 1890 E F Griffin Road, Bartow, Florida, week ending October 18, 2026

Garage space sets the Bartow sale apart. The home in Old Homestead Acres has five garage spaces, the most of any home this week: a three-car attached garage plus a detached two-car garage that also works as a workshop. It sold for $970,000, furnished.

Built in 2007 on a level, landscaped lot of 0.98 acres, the single-story home has 3,575 square feet, four bedrooms and three bathrooms. A triple split plan keeps the bedrooms apart from one another. Inside are coffered and tray ceilings and crown molding, a formal living room and a formal dining room. A gas fireplace anchors the family room, which is combined with the kitchen. The kitchen itself has granite counters, a gas cooktop and a built-in oven. Off a bedroom and bath at the back is a bonus room suited to an in-law suite, and there is also a separate office. In the primary suite, the bath has a jetted tub and a standalone shower.

The backyard has a screened saltwater pool, and the patio is already plumbed for a gas grill. There is also a covered, screened rear porch. The property last sold in 2008 for $571,000.

The home sold for $80,000 more than its $890,000 asking price. Dawn Van Meter of KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY SMART 1 was the listing agent, and Marlenne Suarez of KELLER WILLIAMS REALTY represented the buyer.

No. 3 — $910,000 · 140 Sylvana Court, Auburndale, Florida

Top home sale No. 3 in the Lakeland metro area β€” 140 Sylvana Court, Auburndale, Florida, week ending October 18, 2026

The Auburndale sale, in Sylvana Acres, is part of a gated, one-street community of just ten custom homes. It sits on a cul-de-sac on a one-acre lot and sold for $910,000, above its asking price.

Built in 2005, the single-story custom home has 3,617 square feet, four bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath, and an oversized, air-conditioned three-car garage. Hardwood floors cover the formal living and dining rooms, and the living room has a fireplace. High ceilings, decorative columns and detailed millwork add to the formal feel. The kitchen is built around a large center island with granite counters, a breakfast bar and a walk-in pantry. Next to it, a breakfast nook has built-in bench seating surrounded by windows, and the family room has its own built-in cabinetry, a tray ceiling and a view of the pool.

The primary suite has hardwood floors, a sitting area, two walk-in closets and private access to the pool lanai. Its bath includes a soaking tub set between columns and a walk-in shower. Outside, a large screen enclosure covers a heated pool and spa, and beyond the lanai the grounds add a basketball court, horseshoe pits, a fire pit and open lawn. The property last sold in 2009 for $415,000.

Michael Stone and Deanna Stone, both of THE STONES REAL ESTATE FIRM, were the listing agents, and Charles Blessing, Jr. of COLDWELL BANKER REALTY represented the buyer.

No. 4 — $815,000 · 136 Casavista Drive, Poinciana, Florida

Top home sale No. 4 in the Lakeland metro area β€” 136 Casavista Drive, Poinciana, Florida, week ending October 18, 2026

Poinciana’s entry is in Solivita, a gated 55-and-over community where residents get around by golf cart. The home, which sold for $815,000, began as a model home, the Miami, and was later redesigned with a long list of custom upgrades.

Built in 2012, it is the newest home of the five, and the Mediterranean-style, single-story design is also the most compact, with 3,272 square feet on a 10,677-square-foot lot. It has three bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath. The home is on the water, with views of water and woods, and the listing says those views take in Polk Lake and Bird Island. A picture window was added to the dining room to bring in light and the water views. A den closes off behind glass pocket doors. The living room has a stone wall, and set before it is an electric fireplace housed in a built-in cabinet. The primary suite has a cathedral ceiling with whitewashed beams, glass block windows and a 15-by-20-foot walk-in closet, while a second suite gives guests their own bath and walk-in closet.

A casita with its own entrance has a full kitchen, a bath and a Murphy bed. Outdoors there is a screened lanai that looks out over the water, an outdoor kitchen, and a saltwater pool and heated hot tub, both with added solar heating. The front patio is screened as well. Along with the two-car garage there is a golf cart garage. The community itself offers two championship golf courses, more than two dozen pickleball courts, fitness centers, an indoor pool, 15 community pools and restaurants. The property last sold in 2022 for $720,000.

The home went under contract five days after it was listed. Kathi Zerilli of REDFIN CORPORATION was the listing agent, and Jennifer Sloan of COMPASS FLORIDA LLC represented the buyer.

Top home sale No. 5 in the Lakeland metro area β€” 423 9th St NE, Fort Meade, Florida, week ending October 18, 2026

The Fort Meade sale, which closed at $800,000, is as much a small farm as a home. It sits on 3.17 acres, the largest lot in this week’s group. The land includes a 30-by-55-foot steel building with space for farm equipment, tools and vehicles. Behind that building are a two-stall livestock barn and a small corral, and two paddocks divide the pasture. Irrigation covers both paddocks as well as the lawn around them.

Built in 2004, the oldest of the five, the farmhouse has been fully renovated. It has two stories, 3,664 square feet, four bedrooms, three full baths and one half bath. Its first floor is block construction with vinyl siding. The primary suite is on the main level, and the home also has a chef’s kitchen, a formal dining room, a living room, a breakfast nook, an office and a large laundry room. On the second floor are three more bedrooms and a bonus room, and one of those bedrooms has its own bath. Out back are a saltwater PebbleTec pool and a spa, both heated. The property last sold in 2017 for $293,600.
