Remodeled and expanded from an original design by a San Francisco architect, the Fair Oaks Lane house comes with a newly remodeled guest house, a pool and a broad lawn, and Judy Citron and Talia Citron of Compass handled its listing. It led a week in which the metro area’s five highest-priced reported home sales combined for $51.79 million.

The five sales span Atherton, Portola Valley, Hillsborough and, within San Francisco, the Marina District and Noe Valley. Their build years run from 1900, for a remodeled Noe Valley Victorian, to 2006, for a Portola Valley vineyard property of approximately 41 acres, with a 1931 Spanish Mediterranean house on the Marina waterfront in between.
