A custom estate on more than 6.6 acres in Wadsworth sold for $1.38 million, the highest-priced home sale publicly reported in the Cleveland, Ohio metro area for the week ending August 16, 2026.

The week’s five highest-priced reported sales came to $5.70 million combined, with closings in Wadsworth, Rocky River, Westlake, Shaker Heights and Chagrin Falls. Build years run from 1929 to 2017, and the five take in a Georgian Colonial in Shaker Heights, a house in the Lake Lucerne community in Chagrin Falls and an architect-designed estate on acreage in Medina County.

The four-bedroom house, built in 2002 and reported at 4,978 square feet, carries a Wadsworth address in Sharon Township, Medina County, within the Highland Local School District.
