These are the highest-priced home sales reported in Cherokee & Pickens, Georgia for the week ending November 1, 2026, and together the five came to $3.357 million. All five homes are in Cherokee County, and four of them are in Canton; the fifth has an Alpharetta address. The prices sit close together, with the second- and third-ranked sales tied at $700,000, while the homes themselves span nearly four decades of building, from a Craftsman finished in 1988 to a home completed in 2024.
No. 1 — $704,000 · 1259 Lakeside Overlook, Canton, Georgia

The top sale of the week was also the newest home of the five. A JW Collection home built in 2024, it sits in Lakeside, the gated 55-plus section of River Green in Canton, and it sold for $704,000. Lakeside’s clubhouse, called Evermore, is a short walk away, with a fitness center, a game room, a full kitchen and a wraparound porch that looks out over the lake.
The home is planned around life on one floor. The primary suite is on the main level, with a walk-in shower, a double vanity and separate his-and-her closets, and the open kitchen and living area share that floor with a dedicated office, a laundry room with a sink and a family room with a gas-log fireplace and built-in bookcases. Upstairs, a second bedroom, a full bath and an extra living area give visitors a floor of their own. An elevator shaft is already in place, so an elevator can be added later.
In all, the two-story home has two bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,940 square feet on a level, private lot of 10,018 square feet, the smallest of the five. The professionally landscaped backyard backs to walking trails and natural surroundings. The home also has a screened porch and a separate patio.
Alicia Austhof of Atlanta Communities was the listing agent, and Meagan Farrow of Keller Williams Realty represented the buyer in the week’s highest-priced sale.
