These were the five highest-priced home sales reported in Metro Detroit for the week ending October 18, 2026, and together they came to $9.495 million. Three of the homes are in Oakland County, one is in Genesee County and one is in Wayne County.
The group runs from a ranch completed in 2021 to a Colonial built in 1966, and from a lot of a little more than a quarter acre to a farm of 30.01 acres. Water sets the scene for much of the list, with lakes in Clarkston and Fenton and the Huron River in White Lake.
No. 1 — $2,725,000 · 7689 Deerhill Dr, Clarkston, Michigan

The week’s top sale was 7689 Deerhill Drive in Clarkston, a brick and stone Colonial on the lake that sold for $2,725,000. Built in 1987, the home sits on 4.98 acres along a quiet no-wake stretch of the water, with open views across the lake and a gentle walk down to the shoreline rather than a steep drop.
At 10,089 square feet over three stories, it is the largest home in this Top 5, with seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, nine of them full baths and one a half bath. The main rooms are laid out openly toward the water, and the kitchen is organized around a very large island. Fireplaces warm both the family room and the great room, a sunroom has a fireplace of its own, and the finished lower level walks out toward the lake. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms.
The home has garage space for six cars. A porte cochere leads to a detached garage that has been fitted out with a full golf simulator, and a separate exercise room is lit by plenty of natural light. For all its privacy, the property is only minutes from the restaurants and shops of downtown Clarkston.
Alex Nugent of Real Estate One-Troy was the listing agent, and Jacob Herbert of Keller Williams Paint Creek represented the buyer in the week’s highest-priced sale.

No. 2 — $1,900,000 · 16128 Silvercrest Dr, Fenton, Michigan

On Silver Lake in Fenton’s Silver Knoll Estates, 16128 Silvercrest Drive went under contract 13 days after it was listed and sold for $1,900,000. The stone-clad Craftsman was built in 2018 on 0.28 acres, and the property last sold for $415,000 in 2017, before the current home was built.
Much of the home’s appeal is outdoors, where 85 feet of frontage on the all-sports lake comes with an oversized dock. A brick paver and concrete patio steps down to an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, a flat-top and a granite island with seating. At the water’s edge there are a hot tub, covered seating and a gas fire pit. Upstairs, a balcony opens off the great room and the primary suite.
Inside, the home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,929 square feet, finished with custom millwork and 8-foot doors on the main floor. The kitchen pairs quartz counters and an 11-foot island with a Thermador professional range, and a walk-in pantry sits nearby. The primary suite is on the main floor and has a Mr. Steam shower. The finished lower level walks out to the yard and has a family room, a guest suite, a wet bar and a full kitchenette, and an 11-zone audio system reaches through the home, the outdoor spaces and the heated three-car garage.
Angelle Batten and Mike Batten, both of KW Realty Livingston, were the listing agents. Dylan Tent of Signature Sotheby’s International Realty Nvl represented the buyer.

The newest home in this Top 5 is 2612 Invitational Drive in Oakland, a ranch completed in 2021 that sold for $1,715,000. It stands beside the fourth hole of the Twin Lakes Golf Club, inside the club’s gated community, where residents have access to the golf course and the clubhouse. The single-story home has a stone and brick exterior, lighted walkways and landscaped grounds. Its four bedrooms are all on the main level, along with high ceilings and detailed millwork throughout the open living spaces. A gas fireplace framed by mirrored built-ins anchors the great room, and the kitchen is centered on a marble island. The primary suite looks out over the golf course through large windows, and its bath has a freestanding tub and a wide walk-in shower.
In all, the home has 7,060 square feet, four bathrooms and a four-car garage on 0.46 acres. The finished lower level has a custom bar and a recreation room and opens directly to the yard, where a covered patio and a balcony face the course.

No. 4 — $1,650,000 · 1050 Oxbow Lake Rd, White Lake, Michigan

The largest property of the week is a horse farm. In White Lake, 1050 Oxbow Lake Road covers 30.01 acres on the Huron River, and it sold at its full asking price of $1,650,000. Visitors cross the river to reach it, and the main residence, a 1971 ranch, looks out over the water, with direct access for kayaks and canoes.
The ranch itself is the smallest home in this Top 5, with three bedrooms, four bathrooms and 1,088 square feet, along with a wood-burning fireplace in the great room, a wet bar and an attached two-car garage. A finished guest house of about 1,300 square feet adds a full kitchen, a bath and a large screened porch with views of the pastures and the river.
The equestrian buildings are the heart of the place. An indoor riding arena measures 60 by 150 feet, and the barns have 22 stalls, an observation room with a full bath, an office, a tack room and a kitchen area. Outside are a riding arena, trails and three pastures with new fencing, along with a greenhouse, a poultry barn and raised garden beds. Despite the seclusion, shopping and dining are close by.
Deborah A Dehart of Real Estate One-Commerce was the listing agent, and the same agent was on both sides of the sale, representing the buyer as well.
