Chattanooga, Tennessee Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Soddy Daisy Lakefront Home Leads at $2.1 Million

Two homes on Chickamauga Lake, two on Lookout Mountain and a new home on Signal Mountain made up a week led by a $2.1 million sale in Soddy Daisy.

Chattanooga, Tennessee Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Soddy Daisy Lakefront Home Leads at $2.1 Million

These were the highest-priced home sales reported in the Chattanooga, Tennessee metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, and together they totaled $7.69 million. Four of the homes are in Hamilton County and one is in Walker County, Georgia. Every one of them has at least four bedrooms, and agents at Keller Williams Realty listed three of the five.

No. 1 — $2,100,000 · 2611 Heron Cove Ln, Soddy Daisy, Tennessee

The top sale of the week is on the water in Soddy Daisy, where an all-brick home at 2611 Heron Cove Lane sold for $2,100,000. It sits on 0.68 acres on Chickamauga Lake in Rivers Edge, a community with its own pool, a neighborhood restaurant and a marina within walking distance.

Built in 2007, the two-story home has four bedrooms, four full and two half baths and 5,679 square feet. A two-story foyer leads into an open floor plan, and the lake can be seen from most of the main rooms. The kitchen has an oversized island with seating for five or six, a four-burner gas cooktop and two full-size ovens, and it opens to the den through walls of glass. The primary suite is on the main level, with two walk-in closets, separate vanities, a tiled walk-in shower and a soaking tub. Upstairs are a suite with a vaulted ceiling and another bedroom with an adjoining full bath and bonus room. The property last sold in 2020 for $1.02 million.

The finished lower level has 9-foot ceilings, walls of windows, its own entrance and its own one-car garage, along with a den with a beverage center, a recreation room and a guest suite. A two-car garage serves the main level. Outside, a deck and a covered porch look over the water, and the expanded private dock has a screened porch, two covered boat slips and a boat lift.

The home went under contract six days after it was listed and sold at its full asking price. At 8,253 square feet, the home at 4129 Hamill Road in Hixson is the largest in this Top 5, and having been built in 1987, it is also the oldest. The custom-built brick home sold for $1,700,000. It sits on a 0.52-acre lot on a cul-de-sac on Chickamauga Lake, a few minutes from Highway 153 and about 20 minutes from downtown Chattanooga. The backyard leads down to the shoreline, and the property also has an in-ground pool and a floating dock.

Inside are five bedrooms, four full and one half baths, four fireplaces and vaulted ceilings. The primary bedroom is on the main level, and the home also has a formal dining room, a library, a wet bar and a finished full basement. The property last sold in 2021 for $1.4 million.

A fenced raised-bed garden has a pergola, and the property also has a plumbed greenhouse, a chicken coop with electricity, a treehouse and a detached 22-by-32-foot outbuilding with its own 200-amp service. A covered deck at the rear adds more outdoor space. The property last sold in 2013 for $475,000.
