These were the five highest-priced home sales reported in Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin for the week ending November 1, 2026, and together they came to $4.51 million. Four of the homes are in Sauk County and one is in Adams County.
Three of the five sit directly on the water, including a pair on Lake Redstone in La Valle, and a fourth comes with deeded lake access in a golf community. The group runs from a 1979 chalet-style home on more than two acres to a ranch completed in 2026, the only new construction of the week.
No. 1 — $1,550,000 · S8312 Inspiration Dr, Merrimac, Wisconsin
The week’s top sale was a lakefront Cape Cod-style home in Merrimac with views of Lake Wisconsin, which sold for $1,550,000. Built in 2005, it stands on a wooded, secluded 0.62-acre lot on a cul-de-sac, with a dock on a lake used for water skiing. Stone and vinyl siding cover the exterior.
The main living space is a great room with vaulted and beamed ceilings, expansive windows and a wood-burning fireplace. A loft looks down over it and can work as an office, a reading spot or extra sleeping space. The home has three bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom; in all there are three full baths and a half bath across 3,600 square feet. A finished walkout lower level adds more room and opens to the outdoors, and there is a screened porch for time outside. A detached two-car garage completes the property.

No. 2 — $877,500 · E4860 E Redstone Dr, La Valle, Wisconsin
On Lake Redstone in La Valle, a contemporary home built in 2022 sold for $877,500. It sits on 1.65 acres with 242 feet of shoreline, and at 4,388 square feet it is the largest of the week’s five homes. Engineered wood siding and a steel roof wrap the exterior, and broad decks face the lake.
The home is a single story above a full walkout lower level. Bamboo floors run through the main level, where the kitchen has two-tone cabinetry, quartz counters, a walk-in pantry and a large dining counter. It opens to a dining area and a living room under a vaulted hickory ceiling, with a gas fireplace and a wall of windows that takes in the view. A centrally placed wet bar serves the whole space, and the home also has a sunroom. Two bedroom suites are on the main level.
Downstairs, the partially finished lower level has a large recreation room plumbed for a second wet bar, two more bedrooms and a full bath, with a door out to the lower deck. All told, the home has four bedrooms, three full baths and a half bath, plus an attached three-car garage. The property last sold for $65,000 in 2021, before the current house was built.

No. 3 — $800,000 · 373 Pinehurst Dr, Nekoosa, Wisconsin
A log home in the Pinehurst section of Lake Arrowhead in Nekoosa sold for $800,000. Built in 2003, it sits on 1.39 acres on the community’s Lakes Course, where the heated in-ground pool, a sunken hot tub and a Trex deck look out over the 18th hole. The property last sold for $419,000 in 2015.
The exterior is 10-inch Canadian spruce logs, while white ash and hickory finish the interior. Cathedral ceilings and exposed log beams define the great room, and the home has three stone fireplaces. There is an updated kitchen, a sunroom, a loft office and a large recreation room in the finished lower level. The primary suite has its own log beams, a fireplace and a tiled shower. The home has three bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath in 3,959 square feet, and an attached three-car garage with access to the basement.

The second Lake Redstone sale of the week, on West Redstone Drive in La Valle, closed at $649,000. It is the oldest home in this Top 5, built in 1979, and it sits on the largest lot, 2.16 acres with 525 feet of shoreline and a dock. Tall trees, rock outcroppings and winding paths cover the land, which reaches the water at several points.
The chalet-style home has wood siding outside and wood floors inside, with a kitchen snack bar, a wood-burning fireplace and plenty of windows. Its walkout lower level, partially finished, has a family room with a pellet stove, a wet bar, a bonus room and a full bath. Outdoors there are several decks, a private balcony, picnic spots and a fire pit. The home has three bedrooms and three full baths in 1,782 square feet, along with a detached two-car garage. The property last sold for $85,900 in 2009.

In Cardinal Estates in Sauk City, a newly built ranch home sold for $630,000. Completed in 2026, it is the newest home of the five, set on a 0.28-acre lot on Falcon Court with a patio and a sidewalk. The property last sold for $92,900 in 2024, before the current house was built.
Stone and vinyl siding face the exterior. Inside, the great room rises to a cathedral ceiling and has a fireplace, with luxury vinyl plank flooring throughout. The kitchen opens to it and has quartz counters and a quartz backsplash, stainless steel appliances and a walk-in pantry. The primary suite has two walk-in closets and a tiled walk-in shower, and the laundry is on the first floor. There is also a mudroom. The home has three bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath in 1,795 square feet, plus an attached, insulated three-car garage. The full lower level, with large windows and a bath rough-in, is unfinished and has room for a future family room, a fourth bedroom and a full bath.
