Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin Top 5 Home Sales: Wisconsin Dells Lake Home Leads at $875,000

Three homes on or overlooking quiet lakes closed to motorboats, a 36-acre country property and a brand-new ranch in Sauk City made up the week's top sales.

Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin Top 5 Home Sales: Wisconsin Dells Lake Home Leads at $875,000

Water and land set the tone for the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin, for the week ending October 25, 2026. Together the five sold for $3.63 million.

Two of the homes are in Reedsburg, in the Lake Buckhorn and Buckhorn communities, and the top sale sits on a private lake in Juneau County. The rest of the list moves inland, to a self-sufficient farm property outside Loganville and the only new construction of the group, a ranch home finished in 2025 in Sauk City.

No. 1 — $875,000 · W1502 Trout Rd, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin

Top home sale No. 1 in Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin β€” W1502 Trout Rd, Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, week ending October 25, 2026

The top sale of the week is a 2020 Prairie and Craftsman-style home on Trout Lake, a private, nine-acre lake where motors are not allowed. The property has 150 feet of frontage and a pier, and the water suits fishing and kayaking. The home sits back from the road on 1.79 partly wooded acres along a private road, and the land is on an ATV and snowmobile trail.

Inside, the open living area of the main level centers on a wood-burning fireplace of river stone that rises from floor to ceiling. A long dining area is sized for big gatherings, and the kitchen and laundry are on the same floor. The home also has a great room and vaulted ceilings. The primary bedroom opens onto a covered porch, and the upper level has a bedroom facing the lake, two loft-style bunk rooms and a half bath. All told, the home has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, two full and one half, in 2,450 square feet, with a deck, a patio and a screened porch outside.

The detached garage is heated and insulated, and it includes a game room and its own stairway up to an unfinished attic. The property last sold for $500,000 in 2024. It is within minutes of the Wisconsin River, Wisconsin Dells and Interstate 90/94.

Sally Luehman of REMAX RealPros was the listing agent, and Dan Chin of Real Broker LLC represented the buyer. It was one of two sales in this Top 5 listed by Luehman for REMAX RealPros; the other ranks fourth.

No. 2 — $790,000 · E10085 Buck Bay W, Reedsburg, Wisconsin

Top home sale No. 2 in Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin β€” E10085 Buck Bay W, Reedsburg, Wisconsin, week ending October 25, 2026

At 4,300 square feet, the second-place home in the Lake Buckhorn community of Reedsburg is the largest of the week’s five, and its five bedrooms are also the most. The 2005 brick and vinyl ranch sits on a wooded corner lot of 3.09 acres on a cul-de-sac, with 88 feet of view across the lake and direct access to the water, a lake where motorboats are not permitted.

A winding drive leads to the home, which has vaulted ceilings, southern exposure, walls of windows and views of the water. The kitchen is open to the dining and living areas. Off the main rooms are a sunroom, an office behind French doors and a primary suite whose shower has body sprayers. The home has three bathrooms, a gas fireplace and an attached three-car garage.

The partly finished walkout lower level has a second kitchen, a recreation room and a second laundry room, and it opens to a wide stone patio. Residents of the community share a private beach, a clubhouse and walking trails. The property last sold for $550,000 in 2023.

No. 3 — $770,000 · E10104 Buckhorn Rd, Reedsburg, Wisconsin

Top home sale No. 3 in Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin β€” E10104 Buckhorn Rd, Reedsburg, Wisconsin, week ending October 25, 2026

Built in 1993, the third-place home is the oldest of the five, and it has the most bathrooms, with five. The brick ranch stands on 3.04 acres on the lake in the Buckhorn community of Reedsburg, and it went under contract 13 days after it was listed.

Much of its character is in the woodwork. Cherry cabinetry and trim were made by Amish craftsmen, and the floors are wood. The kitchen has granite counters and a butler’s pantry with a second dishwasher and a wine cooler, and the great room has vaulted ceilings and a wood-burning fireplace. There is a wet bar, a three-season room, and a primary suite with a large walk-in closet and its own bath. In all the home has four bedrooms in 3,796 square feet, and the finished walkout lower level, with ceilings over eight feet, has a recreation room.

Outside, the home is clad in Hardie board fiber cement and fitted with triple-glazed Pella windows. There is Trex decking, a patio and a firepit. Besides the attached two-car garage, a separate insulated garage measuring 21 by 27 feet adds room for storage. The property last sold for $728,500 in 2023.

Jaime Fearing of Gavin Brothers Auctioneers LLC was the listing agent, and Kim K Connors-Johnson of Castle Rock Realty represented the buyer.

No. 4 — $610,000 · S6720 Eli Valley Rd, Loganville, Wisconsin

Top home sale No. 4 in Wisconsin Dells & Baraboo Area, Wisconsin β€” S6720 Eli Valley Rd, Loganville, Wisconsin, week ending October 25, 2026

The fourth-place sale brings the largest piece of land of the week: 36.01 acres of pasture and tillable ground outside Loganville, in the Driftless Region, with a stream that runs year round and can water livestock. The property last sold for $162,000 in 2019, before the current home was built.

The two-story home followed in 2020. It has four bedrooms and four bathrooms in 3,037 square feet, finished with maple cabinetry, a large kitchen island, hickory stairs and engineered hardwood floors. A wood boiler in the lower level drives radiant heat in the floors of every level, and there is also a freestanding wood-burning fireplace. There is a mud room, a bonus room and an office, and the partly finished lower level has walkout access.

The property runs on a 12-volt solar system rather than conventional electrical service; the listing says the seller would install an electric meter before closing. Outbuildings include a 30-by-50-foot shed with a 14-foot lean-to, an insulated shop measuring 12 by 30 feet and a pole building for cold storage.

Sally Luehman of REMAX RealPros was on both sides of the sale, which was one of two in this Top 5 that Luehman listed for the firm, along with the week’s top sale.
