A renovated mid-century modern home in Kailua’s Beachside neighborhood topped the week, selling for $3,800,000. The home on Mahiloa Place is five lots from a white sand beach, and the property comes with deeded beach access. Its lot is level, sits on a corner and is on a dead end.

Built in 1967, the single-story home was recently expanded to four bedrooms, with a new primary bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen is new as well, fitted with Wolf appliances and custom cabinets, and the main living space rises to high ceilings. The renovation also added a mud room, a butler’s pantry and a laundry room, brought in all new plumbing and electrical, and replaced the windows and sliding doors with new Fleetwood units.

The home has 2,398 square feet, three full baths and a half bath, tile floors and a two-car garage. A landscaped yard surrounds it, and there are views of the mountains. The listing says there is room to add a pool.
