The 2011 residence at 1327 E Desert Garden Dr occupies a secluded 3-acre lot in Pima Canyon Estates, and listing materials credit its design with a first-place ASID award. It led five Tucson metro area home sales that combined for $8.12 million from September 7 through September 13, 2026.

This week’s Top 5 home sales span Catalina Foothills, Terra De Concini, Tucson and Summerhaven, and their build years run from 1940 to 2011. The Catalina Foothills produced both the No. 1 and No. 3 closings, while the No. 2 sale is a Josias Joesler design in the Sam Hughes Historic District and the No. 5 sale is a mountain home on Mt. Lemmon.

The property is organized as a main residence with an attached guest house and a rooftop patio. An open floor plan runs across Desert Sun sandstone floors, while Cardinal windows and large picture windows look out to the Santa Catalina Mountains. No. 2 — $2,225,000 · 2802 E Via Rotunda, Tucson, Arizona

Top home sale No. 2 in the Tucson, Arizona metro area β€” 2802 E Via Rotunda, Tucson, Arizona, week ending September 13, 2026

Tucson architect Josias Joesler originally designed the 1940 residence at 2802 E Via Rotunda, and designer Casey W. Smith later reimagined it.
