Stockton, California Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Acampo Home Sells for $1.62 Million

The five-bedroom house at 21649 N Des Moines Rd in Acampo sits behind mature landscaping and a producing pinot noir vineyard, and it went under contract 15 days after the current listing date before closing at $1.62 million. It was the highest-priced of five reported home sales across the Stockton metro area for the week ending September 6, 2026, a group that together totaled $5.93 million.

The five closings were spread across Acampo, Stockton, Griffin Park, Ripon and Lathrop, and they ranged from a 1961 waterfront residence on a gated Delta island to newly built houses in Manteca and Lathrop.

The week’s highest reported sale was a five-bedroom, seven-bath house on N Des Moines Rd in Acampo. The 1996 residence carries a reported 6,425 square feet and changed hands for $1,625,000. The transaction closed August 31, 2026. The property previously changed hands for $1,350,000 in 2003.

The plan opens to an entry hall and staircase, with a large family room and the kitchen at the center of the house. Kitchen, dining and living rooms flow out to brick patios, and glass walls bring light and the surrounding greenery inside. All five bedrooms are en suite, arranged with aging in place and multigenerational living in mind, and one of them includes a kitchenette.
