The five highest-priced home sales reported in St. Clair County, Illinois for the week ending November 1, 2026 came to a combined $3.387 million. The sales were spread across O’Fallon, Shiloh, Swansea and Fairview Heights, and prices ran from $1,291,500 at the top to $447,000 in fifth place.
The group takes in a lakefront property with its own boat dock, a home on a golf course and a custom ranch with room for a serious car collection, along with a country setting in Swansea that comes with a piece of local history.
No. 1 — $1,291,500 · 134 Jacks Bnd, O’Fallon, Illinois

The week’s top sale was a custom ranch on a wooded cul-de-sac lot in O’Fallon, which sold for $1,291,500. The home was built in 2019 on 1.15 acres, and the property last sold for $145,000 in 2018, before the current house was built.
At 5,091 square feet, it is the largest of the five homes, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. Four of the bedrooms, the primary suite among them, are on the main level, as are three of the baths and a large laundry room with a built-in workspace. The open floor plan has vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors, and the great room has a stone fireplace that rises from floor to ceiling. In the kitchen, a large center island is joined by custom cabinetry, double convection ovens and a butler’s pantry.
The walk-out lower level is built for company. It has a home theater, a second kitchen and a recreation room, plus the fifth bedroom, the fourth bath and an office that also serves as a cigar room, with an exhaust fan of its own.
Outdoors, a custom pavilion has a large wood-burning fireplace. The property also has a gas fire pit, a hot tub, a stamped concrete patio and a covered, screened deck. Garage space for 10 vehicles is the most in this group; the garages are heated, with radiant-heated epoxy floors and workbenches, and a lower garage is climate-controlled. The home uses geothermal heating and cooling and a Control4 home automation system, and it is minutes from downtown O’Fallon and Scott Air Force Base.

No. 3 — $512,000 · 110 Fullerton Rd, Swansea, Illinois

Some of the wood beams inside this Swansea home were salvaged from the town’s former railroad station, a building that is now home to LongStory Coffee. The beams share the interior with vaulted ceilings and hardwood floors.
The stucco home was built in 1977, the oldest of the five, and its 3.81 acres make the largest lot of the group. A long, tree-lined drive leads in from the road. The land has a stocked pond with fish and turtles, a garden, a dog run and a detached pole barn, and outdoor living areas look out over mature woods and the water. There is also a multi-level deck.
With 3,428 square feet, the home has four bedrooms, two full baths and a half bath. The eat-in kitchen has granite counters, a gas range, an indoor grill and a built-in wine refrigerator, with a breakfast nook set in a bay window. A brick wood-burning fireplace with a gas starter warms the family room. Below, the basement has a workshop with its own 100-amp electrical service, and there is a three-car tuck-under garage. The listing says the property is zoned for both residential and commercial use.
The home went under contract eight days after it was listed and sold above its asking price of $499,500. Mark Massey of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Select Properties was the listing agent, and Tracy Bowker of Coldwell Banker Brown Realtors represented the buyer.
