The five highest-priced home sales reported in Upper Montgomery County, Maryland for the week ending November 1, 2026 totaled $4.33 million. Four are single-family homes and one is a townhouse. Together they span more than half a century of building, from a Colonial in Westleigh dating to the early 1970s to a home in Boyds that is new this year, the only new construction in the group.
No. 1 — $1,125,000 · 508 Market St E, Gaithersburg, Maryland

The top sale of the week was a 2002 Colonial in the Lakelands neighborhood of Gaithersburg, which sold for $1,125,000. The home overlooks a green courtyard, and with 3,840 square feet it has the most living space of the five. It also has a Tesla solar roof, put on in 2022.
A front porch leads into a two-story foyer, with the formal living and dining rooms on either side. The white kitchen has granite counters and stainless steel appliances and opens to the family room, which has a gas fireplace. The kitchen and family room open onto a covered Trex deck, custom designed, with a built-in hot tub added in 2022. A ceiling fan, recessed lights and privacy curtains make the deck usable well beyond summer.
All four bedrooms are upstairs. The primary suite has a cathedral ceiling, two walk-in closets and a bath with a large soaking tub, a separate shower and an enclosed water closet. The finished lower level adds a recreation room with custom built-ins, a bonus area and a full bath with a steam shower. In all, the home has three full baths and a half bath, along with a rear-facing two-car garage. Lakelands residents share a clubhouse, a community pool, a fitness center and tennis courts. The property last sold for $750,000 in 2015.
The home went under contract 12 days after it was listed. Jen Ambrose of Long & Foster Real Estate, Inc. was the listing agent, and Tina Nader of TTR Sotheby’s International Realty represented the buyer.
