The five highest-priced home sales reported in San Bernardino Valley & Mountains, California for the week ending October 25, 2026, came to a combined $14.66 million. No. 1 — $5,925,000 · 177 Shorewood Dr, Lake Arrowhead, California

Top home sale No. 1 in San Bernardino Valley & Mountains, California — 177 Shorewood Dr, Lake Arrowhead, California, week ending October 25, 2026

The week’s top sale was a lakefront estate in Lake Arrowhead that sold for $5,925,000. The home stands on a level peninsula with water on three sides, and the property has more than 675 feet of private shoreline and two private boat docks. From the home there are views of the lake, the Island and the surrounding ridgelines. The property is reached through a private entry, and the parking includes a circular driveway and a porte-cochere.

Built in 1989, the home has 10 bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and 15,632 square feet of living space, the largest of the five, on 0.66 acres. Cathedral and two-story ceilings and broad windows open the main rooms to the water. Extensive renovations included custom stonework and updated baths, and the chef’s kitchen has a temperature-controlled wine display and an oversized butler’s pantry. The home has an elevator, and there are fireplaces in the living room, the dining room, the den, the library and the primary bedroom.

The primary suite takes up five separate spaces: the bedroom and its bath, a walk-in closet, a sitting room that can serve as an office, and a breakfast room with a coffee bar. A bar and lounge done in an old-world style recalls a classic private club, and the adjoining office and library are finished to match, each with walls of windows overlooking the lake. A recreation room modeled on a 1950s diner opens directly to the docks, the hot tub and the sauna. A private wing on the same level has four bedrooms and three baths.

A detached guest house has its own private living quarters, with two bedrooms, one and a half baths, a laundry room and a full kitchen, set above two oversized garages. The guest house also has a covered carport large enough for a boat. The property last sold for $5.75 million in 2021.

Danielle Rosenthal and Cindy Stahl, both of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty, were the listing agents for the week’s highest-priced sale, and May Chaya of May Chaya, Broker, represented the buyer.
