Mid-Hudson Valley, New York Top 5 Home Sales: $4.8 Million Clinton Corners Estate Leads the Week

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Mid-Hudson Valley for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $9.4 million. Four of the five were in Dutchess County and one was in Rockland County, and the group ranged from a newly built home finished this year to a condominium in a building that dates to 1912.

Hopewell Junction accounted for two of the sales, which together came to $2,250,000. The third- and fourth-ranked sales closed at exactly the same price, and one of the five homes had the same agent on both sides of the sale.

No. 1 — $4,800,000 · 790 Stanford Road, Clinton Corners, New York

The week’s top sale was 790 Stanford Road in Clinton Corners, a country property of 34.99 acres a few minutes from the Village of Millbrook, which sold for $4,800,000. Built in 1985 in a traditional style and finished in clapboard, the home sits at the end of a long private drive and has views west to the Catskill Mountains.

The first floor has ceilings of nine and a half feet, wide-board oak floors and crown molding. In the living room, a fireplace is joined by built-in bookcases and speakers, and French doors lead out to a large covered porch that looks over the grounds and the pool. The family room and the sunroom each have a fireplace as well. The kitchen sits at the center of the home, with quartzite counters, a mahogany-topped island, a Wolf cooktop with a griddle and two wine coolers, and the formal dining room has pocket doors and a pair of china closets.

The home has four bedrooms, six bathrooms and 5,206 square feet of living space. The primary suite is upstairs, with two closets and a bath that has a large shower and a double vanity. The second-highest sale of the week was the newest home of the five: 1 Aurora Terrace in Tuxedo Park, the builder’s furnished MacArthur model at the Tuxedo Reserve community, which sold for $1,200,000. Built in 2026 in a modern style, it has four bedrooms, five bathrooms and 2,937 square feet on a lot of 8,500 square feet, with a two-car garage.

The main floor is open, with the kitchen running into the dining area and the great room. The kitchen has quartz counters, shaker-style cabinets, stainless steel appliances and double wall ovens. Upstairs, a loft sits alongside the four bedrooms, and the owner’s suite has a walk-in closet, a double vanity and a glass-enclosed tile shower. Hardwood floors and nine-foot ceilings run through the home, and the partially finished basement has walk-out access.

A circular staircase greets visitors at 17 Coopers Lane, a Colonial in the Stoneridge neighborhood of Hopewell Junction. Built in 2007 and set well back from the road on 2.61 acres, the home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and 4,287 square feet of living space.

Hardwood floors and an open plan carry through the main living areas. The kitchen has a two-level island and opens to the family and dining areas, and a bonus room next to a private office can serve as a media room, a guest room or a place to work from home. Unit #201 at 1 E Main Street in Beacon is a loft condominium on the second floor of a reclaimed factory building, and at 1912 it is the oldest of the week’s five sales. Its original wood and steel beams are exposed throughout, and the walls show their brick.

Ceilings rise to 12 and a half feet, and every room has windows 12 feet tall. The living room, kitchen and dining room flow together as one open space. The kitchen has been fully restored, with colored cabinets, a Viking stove, a Fisher & Paykel refrigerator and a quartz waterfall island, and the living room has a custom built-in fireplace. A private balcony opens off the dining room on the south side.

The condominium has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and 1,610 square feet. The building has an elevator, the unit comes with its own password-protected EV charger, and shops and restaurants are steps away, with views over Main Street.

The natural wood exterior sits on 8.09 acres of landscaped grounds, with walking trails, bluestone paths and an irrigation system across the property.

The two-story great room is the heart of the home, with a wood-burning fireplace, exposed beams and walls of large windows. The kitchen, with granite counters and custom cabinets, opens off the living area. The primary suite is on the main level and has a gas fireplace and a bath with a soaking tub, a tile shower and a double vanity.
