Portland, Maine Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: A $7 Million Home in Cape Neddick Leads the Week

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Portland, Maine, metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, added up to $21.785 million. The list runs from a $7,000,000 Shingle-style home in Cape Neddick down to a $2,800,000 condominium in Kittery, and it spans more than a century of building, from an 1890 Victorian in York Harbor to a home built in 2026.

Two of the sales were in York, and four of the five were in York County. All but one were single-family homes; the exception was a condominium on the Kittery waterfront.

No. 1 — $7,000,000 · 181 Nubble Road, York, Maine

The week’s top sale was 181 Nubble Road in Cape Neddick, in York, which sold for $7,000,000. The Shingle-style home was built in 2006 and has 7,004 square feet of living space, the most of any home in this group, with five bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath. The property last sold for $5 million in 2022.

Clapboard and shingle siding cover the exterior. Inside are wood, tile and carpeted floors, three fireplaces and a pantry, and there is a bedroom on the first floor. The primary bedroom has its own bath. The 0.82-acre lot is level and landscaped, with an irrigation system, a private pool, a deck and a patio, and the garage has room for four cars, the most of the five. The property is near a public beach, a golf course and a country club, as well as shopping and the town.

The 1.55-acre lot is level, landscaped and wooded, on a cul-de-sac, and the home stands at the end of the private road, set against protected conservation land. Tall Trees Construction built it in the Shingle style, with red cedar shingles, a copper roof and a circular drive lined in cobblestones.
