Omaha, Nebraska Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: $1.9 Million Log Home in Lincoln Estates Leads the Week

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Omaha, Nebraska metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, totaled $7.555 million. Three of the homes are in Omaha and two are in Gretna, and they range from a 2023 villa on just over a quarter of an acre to a 1988 ranch on 10.71 acres.

BHHS Ambassador Real Estate listed four of the five, every sale on the list below the top spot.

No. 1 — $1,900,000 · 10844 S 180th St, Omaha, Nebraska

The week’s top sale is a log home in Lincoln Estates, built in 1997 by Curt Hofer & Associates with oak log walls and wood siding. It sits on 7.56 wooded, rolling acres reached by a private road, and the land has a stream and a spring-fed pond stocked with fish, complete with a fishing dock.

A two-story entry opens the 5,277-square-foot interior, which has six bedrooms, more than any other home in this group, and five bathrooms. The kitchen is fitted with Wolf and Sub-Zero appliances, and the floors include heated slate and radiant heat. There is a formal dining room, a private office, a fitness room and two fireplaces, and the full basement is finished with a walk-out and a theater on the lower level. Sonos audio runs through the whole home.

Outside, a covered porch stretches 60 feet, and there is also a deck, a hot tub and a fire pit. The attached garage has room for nine cars, and a separate outbuilding adds nearly 2,600 square feet of heated, finished space. For all its seclusion, the property is a few minutes’ drive from schools and shopping in Gretna and from the interstate. It last sold for $695,000 in 2003.

The oversized two-car garage has an epoxy floor.

The finished walk-out lower level has a second kitchen, a theater, a fitness area and a guest suite. Outside, the land opens onto countryside views with no neighbors behind it, and an outbuilding and sheds stand on the property. Downtown Gretna is a few minutes away.
