The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Lake-Sumter Area outside The Villages, Florida for the week ending October 25, 2026, totaled $8.06 million. Four of the sales were in Lake County and one was in Sumter County, with two in Umatilla and one each in Montverde, Bushnell and Clermont.
The settings range from a gated golf community to fenced pasture and a private ski lake. Two of the homes are new construction, while the oldest dates to 1981.
No. 1 — $2,100,000 · 16606 Bolsena Drive, Montverde, Florida
In Bella Collina, a gated golf community in Montverde, a new lakefront home finished in 2025 sold for $2,100,000, the highest price of the week. The two-story Contemporary home, a design known as the Elwood, is built of block and finished in stucco and stone, and its 0.27-acre lot has views of the lake and the woods.
The foyer leads into a two-story great room under a tray ceiling, with views out to a large covered lanai. The kitchen and family room share one open space, centered on an island with a breakfast bar and backed by a walk-in pantry. The primary suite is on the main floor, with its own tray ceiling, a large walk-in closet and a bath with a soaking tub, a walk-in shower and two vanities. On the upper floor, the secondary bedrooms each have a walk-in closet and their own bath, and a loft adds room for a game area or study. A flex room near the foyer can serve as an office or library. The week’s second-highest sale was in Umatilla, where a property of 81.51 acres, the largest piece of land in this Top 5, sold for $2,000,000. The one-story home on it was built in 1981 and has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 2,283 square feet of living area. It is finished in brick and vinyl siding and has an in-ground pool and a carport.

No. 3 — $1,400,000 · 9550 CR 614A, Bushnell, Florida
In Bushnell, the only Sumter County sale in this Top 5, a fenced 10.19-acre property with two homes built in 2024 and pastures for livestock sold for $1,400,000. The property has six bedrooms, six full baths and a half bath, and 4,945 square feet of living area, the most in this group, along with garage space for five vehicles. It last sold for $285,000 in 2021, before the current house was built.
The main home is open from end to end under vaulted ceilings, with pine accents, wood-look vinyl floors and an electric fireplace set into a stone feature wall in the family room. The kitchen takes a modern farmhouse approach: two-tone cabinets, a brick backsplash, stone counters, a farmhouse sink and a walk-in pantry hidden from view.
