Keller Williams Announces Key Leadership Appointments

Keller Williams named five leaders, including a new head of divisions and co-heads of U.S. growth and attraction, in a leadership reshuffle aimed at accelerating agent growth and commercial expansion.

Keller Williams Announces Key Leadership Appointments

Keller Williams Realty, the Austin, Texas-based franchisor that describes itself as the world’s largest real estate franchise by agent count, announced five leadership appointments this week aimed at accelerating agent growth, commercial real estate expansion and franchise productivity across its U.S. and Canada network.

The appointments, effective immediately, restructure oversight of several growth levers, from regional franchise performance to national agent recruiting to KW Commercial’s expansion. Because Keller Williams operates one of the largest franchise networks in U.S. residential real estate, leadership changes here can ripple through thousands of independently owned market centers.

Context

Keller Williams says it is the No. 1 real estate franchise in the U.S. by both closed units and sales volume. The appointments follow a series of executive additions over the past year, including the April 2026 hiring of Christopher Brodhead as the company’s first chief revenue officer, a newly created role, according to a Keller Williams announcement distributed via Business Wire. KW also reshaped its executive suite in 2025, naming Tim Dieffenbacher chief financial officer and formalizing Stacie Herron’s role as chief operations and chief legal officer, according to the company.

The appointments

John Clidy was named head of divisions, a role in which he will lead strategic alignment and performance across Keller Williams’ 30 U.S. and Canada regions, according to the company. Clidy joined KW more than a decade ago as a top-producing agent and has since served as a market center operating principal, regional director and divisional leader, the company said.

Sean Hostert was appointed head of commercial operations and strategy, overseeing KW Commercial. Hostert is a chartered financial analyst with more than 15 years in finance, investment and commercial real estate, including roles at Trio Investment Group — now part of J.P. Morgan Asset Management — Broadstone Net Lease and VEREIT, according to Keller Williams.

Andy Peters and Lesley Peters were named co-heads of U.S. growth and attraction, tasked with directing the company’s national agent-recruitment strategy. The pair has spent 20 years as real estate entrepreneurs and coaches, leading roughly 2,200 agents across seven KW franchises in Georgia and the Carolinas, according to the company.

Gabby Maddox Davis was named head of digital and social for growth and attraction, a role she will hold in addition to her position as operating principal of Keller Williams Realty West ATL. Under her leadership, that market center grew to nearly 500 agents in three years and was the fastest net-growing KW market center worldwide in 2024 and 2025, the company said.

“Great leadership drives growth, and the fastest way to accelerate this is to put proven leaders closest to the opportunity,” KW President and CEO Chris Czarnecki said in the announcement.

What it means

Verified: Keller Williams has appointed five people to newly defined or expanded growth-focused roles, effective immediately, according to the company’s own announcement. Attributed interpretation: Czarnecki frames the moves as putting operators with direct field experience in charge of recruiting, retention and commercial growth. RealtyWire analysis: the appointments concentrate authority over agent attraction and franchise performance among leaders with market-center operating backgrounds rather than pure corporate executives, suggesting KW is prioritizing field-tested credibility as it competes for agents.

What to watch

Whether the new structure translates into measurable agent-count and franchise-productivity gains should become clearer in KW’s next annual growth figures. It’s also worth watching how KW Commercial’s expansion plans evolve under Hostert, and whether other large brokerage franchisors follow with similar growth-focused hires.
