A Tuscan-style home at Copper River led a week that also took in a former builder's model, a single-story custom home in a gated Woodward Park community and nearly five acres of horse property in Clovis.

Fresno, California Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Woodward Park Home Leads at $2.1 Million

The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Fresno, California metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $6.72 million. Three of the homes are in Fresno, one is in Madera and one is in Clovis.

All five are single-family homes. Three of them are single-story, and the other two have two stories. Two of the sales closed at exactly the same price, and in one sale the same agent was on both sides.

No. 1 — $2,075,000 · 1639 E Clubhouse Dr, Fresno, California

Cornerstone Custom Homes designed and built this Tuscan-style home in the Copper River Country Club community, in the Woodward Park area of Fresno. It sold for $2,075,000. Built in 2008, the stucco home sits on a corner lot of 0.30 acres and has five bedrooms, seven bathrooms and 5,700 square feet of living space, the most living area of any home in this week’s Top 5.

On the main floor, the family room, the formal living room and the formal dining room all open onto an enclosed courtyard with its own fireplace and a water feature. The kitchen has a barreled brick ceiling, hand-crafted cabinetry, Thermador stainless steel appliances and a butler’s pantry, and it opens to a breakfast area and the family room. The primary suite is on the ground floor, set apart from the other bedrooms, along with an office that has a separate entrance and a temperature-controlled wine room.

Upstairs are three more bedroom suites, a game room wired for several screens, a home theater and a balcony at the front of the home. There are four fireplaces in all, and the home has smart-home technology and a solar system that is paid off. The property last sold for $1.65 million in 2019.

The second sale of the week was also at Copper River, in the gated Villa Palazzo community, and it sold for $1,446,790. The home was the Millie, a model home built by Granville Homes, and it was designed in a modern take on Spanish architecture. It has five bedrooms, five bathrooms and 4,580 square feet on two floors.

A portico and a courtyard lead to steel double doors and into a great room built around a tiled fireplace that rises from floor to ceiling. The kitchen has a large center island, quartz countertops, a gas stovetop and two dishwashers. The main level also has a bonus room and a second primary suite with its own bath, suited to guests or to several generations living together. On the upper floor, a loft opens to a private balcony, and the primary suite includes a custom closet with an island.

The home stands on a corner lot of 7,771 square feet, the smallest lot in this week’s group. Outside are a covered patio with extended concrete and landscaping designed for the model home. The home also has a four-car garage and an owned solar system.

Two homes tied for third place this week, each closing at $1,100,000. The first is a single-story custom home by builder Gary McDonald on a cul-de-sac in Country Club at the Fort, a gated community in the Woodward Park area of Fresno. Built in 2004, it has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 3,600 square feet on a lot of 0.31 acres.

The plan divides the bedrooms into two wings. On the west side, the primary suite has a walk-in closet, two vanities, a jetted tub and a separate shower, and two more bedrooms share a full bath. The east side has a private guest suite with its own bath and a laundry room. Andersen windows and doors, a tile roof, tall solid-core interior doors and custom trim run through the home, under high ceilings.

In the kitchen are Kitchen Kraft cabinets, granite counters, a large island, a walk-in pantry and a butler’s pantry. It is open to a breakfast area and to a family room with a fireplace. French doors in both the family room and the living room lead out to the backyard, which has a pool, a big covered patio, a lawn and orange, persimmon, apple and lemon trees among its mature plantings. Fort Washington Country Club and walking trails are nearby, and the home is in the Clovis Unified School District. The property last sold for $717,000 in 2004.

The other $1,100,000 sale was in Madera, in the Riverstone community, in the Lafayette development, and the home was built in 2023. The single-story stucco home has four bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,172 square feet on a lot of 0.26 acres.

In the backyard, a fiberglass pool with a pebble finish, fiber-optic lighting and custom water features sits beside a lawn, a pergola and stamped concrete, with iron gates on both sides of the yard and a built-in sandbox. Inside, an open floor plan joins the kitchen to the living and dining areas. The kitchen has two ovens, custom cabinets, a built-in refrigerator, an oversized island and a large butler’s pantry, and the primary bathroom has a freestanding soaking tub. Riverstone residents share a community pool, a clubhouse and a fitness center.

No. 5 — $1,000,000 · 6388 E Appaloosa Ave, Clovis, California

The fifth sale of the week brought a buyer 4.98 acres in Appaloosa Acres, a gated equestrian community in north Clovis, and the largest lot among the five. The land is set up as horse property and has a barn and sheds, a private well and a septic system. It sold for $1,000,000.

The ranch-style home, built in 1977, is a single story with wood siding. It has four bedrooms, all of them on the main level, three full bathrooms and 3,704 square feet. Beamed and high ceilings, large windows, built-ins, granite counters and a walk-in pantry are among its features, and the living room has a fireplace. Outside are a wood deck, a pool and views across the valley. The four-car garage has several doors, along with a workshop and a loft.

The property last sold for $307,500 in 2011. It went under contract 11 days after it was listed and sold above its asking price of $939,888. Tamara Nowzaree of Real Broker was the listing agent.
