The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Fort Wayne metro area for the week ending October 18, 2026, came to a combined $3.511 million. Two of the homes are in Fort Wayne, and one each is in Huntertown, Columbia City and Bluffton, spread across Allen, Noble and Wells counties.
The group runs from a home completed this year to a mid-century ranch on a glacial lake, and from a half-acre lot in a newer neighborhood to more than six acres of gardens. In three of the five sales, the same agent was on both sides of the transaction.
No. 1 — $820,000 · 251 Ninepark Cv, Huntertown, Indiana

The week’s highest-priced sale was a home in The Quarry neighborhood of Huntertown, which sold for $820,000. Wannemacher Homes custom built it in 2022, and the exterior pairs stone with vinyl siding.
The living room is organized around a gas fireplace faced in stone from floor to ceiling, flanked by low built-in cabinets and floating shelves, under a beamed ceiling. Transom windows bring light into both the living room and the breakfast room, and light luxury vinyl plank runs through the main-floor living spaces. The kitchen is open to the living area and has a walk-in pantry and a coffee bar.
The home has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and 3,456 square feet. The primary suite, with a large walk-in closet, is on the main level, along with a second bedroom. The backyard has a covered patio, a fire pit area, new landscaping and raised vegetable beds, and an in-ground irrigation system waters the yard. A stepping-stone path runs to a back door of the attached three-car garage, which has extra room for a mower and outdoor furniture. The lot measures 0.52 acres, the smallest in this Top 5. Rows of them run across the 6.16-acre property, the largest lot among the week’s five sales, along with raised garden beds, a pond, a fire pit and layered hardscape. An arched trellis marks the way into the backyard, where seating areas are set among the plantings. The grounds also include a garden shed, a basketball goal and a covered porch.

No. 3 — $714,000 · 5945 S Woodstrail Dr, Columbia City, Indiana

This mid-century ranch in the Morsches neighborhood of Columbia City sits on Crooked Lake, with about 275 feet of shoreline, and it overlooks the Crooked Lake Nature Preserve. It sold for $714,000. Built in 1949, it is the oldest home in this Top 5, and with 5,004 square feet it is also the largest.
Crooked Lake is a deep glacial lake, more than 100 feet at its deepest, with water clear enough to see close to 19 feet down. A permanent short dock reaches deep water, and a gently sloping launch area gives another way into the lake. The property has a deck on the waterfront and a separate lakeside garage for boats and gear.
The one-story home is finished in brick, fiber cement and limestone, and walls of glass face the lake. Recent updates kept its mid-century character. The remodeled kitchen has a large island, Shaker-style cabinets, maple countertops and a built-in banquette, and it opens to a sunroom glazed on three sides. In the living room, the gas fireplace is built of Indiana limestone.
There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The primary suite has a sitting area and its own bath. The walk-out lower level is set up as guest quarters, with a kitchen, a full bath and its own laundry. The property covers 1.21 acres, has an attached two-car garage, and includes an additional lot across the road. It is less than eight miles from Columbia City.
Adam Ertel of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Gr and Stan Frantz of Coldwell Banker Real Estate Gr were the listing agents, and Adam Ertel also represented the buyer. The same agent was on both sides of the sale.
