The five highest-priced home sales reported in Okaloosa and Walton counties for the week ending October 18, 2026, totaled $32.39 million. Every one of them was a single-family home in Walton County, and the prices ran from $8.9 million down to $4.45 million.
The list moves through some of the best-known planned communities on this part of the coast: Alys Beach, Watercolor, Watersound Beach and Walk Over Dunes. The homes are young, built between 2015 and 2024, and most rise three or four stories, with pools, outdoor kitchens and elevators turning up again and again.
No. 1 — $8,900,000 · 98 Whitten Way, Inlet Beach, Florida

The top sale of the week was the newest home on the list. Built in 2024, the two-story home at 98 Whitten Way in Alys Beach sold for $8,900,000. The property last sold for $6.55 million in 2024.

The home is built of block, concrete and stucco. It has four bedrooms and five baths, four full and one half, in 4,072 square feet, the smallest living area of the five.
