Cape Coral, Florida Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Barefoot Beach Gulf-Front Home Leads Five Waterfront Sales

The highest-priced home sales reported in the Cape Coral, Florida metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, added up to $24.597 million. The five sales were spread across Bonita Springs in Collier County, Fort Myers Beach, Miromar Lakes and Cape Coral in Lee County, and Boca Grande in Charlotte County.

Four of the five were single-family homes and one was a condominium. The newest was built in 2023 and the oldest in 1989.

No. 1 — $8,850,000 · 205 Barefoot Beach Blvd, Bonita Springs, Florida

The week’s top sale was a three-story home on Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs, with frontage on the Gulf and views that take in both the Gulf and the bay. Built in 2020 on an oversize lot, it sold for $8,850,000. The property last sold for $8 million in 2021.

It is also the largest of the five, with 5,637 square feet, five bedrooms and six bathrooms. The interior has wood and tile floors, vaulted ceilings, a great room with a fireplace, a wet bar and a den. Outside are a deck, balconies, an outdoor kitchen and a dock, and there is a five-car garage and a circular driveway. The Barefoot Beach community offers beach access, a clubhouse, a pool, a fitness center, tennis and pickleball, with a beach club available.

The home went under contract the same day it was listed. Barry DeNicola of Barry DeNicola Realty Inc was the listing agent and was on both sides of the sale.

The home is built of block and stone, with concrete walls and concrete floors throughout. Pecky cypress resin ceilings, quartzite slabs and Lauriermax cabinetry carry through the rooms, and walls of floor-to-ceiling glass look out over the bay. The kitchen has a six-burner Wolf gas range, Sub-Zero refrigeration, a built-in barista system and a walk-in pantry tucked out of sight, and it opens to a bar with its own wine refrigerator and ice maker. A gas fireplace warms the living area.

There are four bedrooms and four bathrooms in 3,248 square feet, and every bedroom opens to its own balcony. The owner’s suite has water views and a hydrotherapy tub. The home also has an enclosed lower level, two garages and two laundry rooms.

The 0.26-acre lot has a pool with underwater seating, a fire pit, native palms and an outdoor kitchen that can be closed in with roll-down screens. A new seawall lines the shoreline, and the dock has two boat lifts, rated at 15,000 and 6,000 pounds. The lot is across from beach access.
