These were the five highest-priced home sales reported in Brunswick County, North Carolina for the week ending October 25, 2026, and together they came to $8.05 million. Oak Island accounted for three of them and Ocean Isle Beach for the other two.
Water runs through most of the list: a second-row beach home with a pool, a small home on the dunes in Yaupon Beach, a canal-front home with two boat lifts and a canal home with its own dock. The fifth sale looks out on a pond and a golf course inside a gated community. The homes range in age from 1979 to 2023, and all are single-family homes, four of them on two stories.
No. 1 — $2,570,000 · 126 W Beach Drive, Oak Island, North Carolina

The week’s top sale was a furnished beach home on West Beach Drive in Oak Island, which sold for $2,570,000. It sits on the second row, across the street from the Atlantic, and the ocean is in view from its main living floor. Built in 2020 as a custom home, it has four bedrooms, five full baths and a half bath, and 3,039 square feet of living space on two stories, with an elevator between levels. It changed hands with its furnishings.
The living, dining and kitchen areas share one open floor framed by large picture windows. The living room is big enough for two separate sitting areas, and the kitchen is built around a large island with custom cabinetry and countertops. A custom bar with a wine cooler and a beverage refrigerator sits nearby, along with a walk-in pantry, a spot set aside for wine and bourbon, a half bath and a guest bedroom with its own full bath. Upstairs, the oceanside primary suite has two bathrooms and two closets, and two more bedrooms each have a private bath. That floor also has the laundry room and a built-in desk for working from home. On the ground level, built-in shelving, cabinets and a workbench give the owners room for beach gear and tools.

Decks open off both the front and the back. The lot is a lot and a half, and the extra half is cleared, landscaped and fenced. Middleton Park, with its summer concert series and splash pad, is nearby. The property last sold for $310,000 in 2020.
