These are the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Augusta-Aiken metro area for the week ending October 18, 2026, and together they totaled $5.44 million. Two of the homes are in Aiken, on the South Carolina side of the market, and three are in Columbia County, Georgia: two in Martinez and one in Grovetown.
The group runs from a home built in the 1930s to new construction finished this year, with a golf course home and a custom home built for outdoor entertaining in between. In one of the five sales, the same agent was on both sides.
No. 1 — $1,720,000 · 606 S Boundary Ave SE, Aiken, South Carolina

The week’s top sale was a Colonial in Aiken’s downtown, built in 1936, which sold for $1,720,000. The listing says it dates to the Golden Age of the Winter Colony, when Mary Croft, who had come from Long Island, built it and named it Walnutcroft. It has since been updated in a way that respects its age.
The main rooms are on the first floor, where extensive millwork, high ceilings and hardwood floors run through formal living and dining rooms and a second dining room. The kitchen has granite countertops, current appliances and an island. A sunroom looks out on brick-walled gardens, a saltwater pool and a patio, and the home sits on a landscaped corner lot of 0.70 acres.
The home has five bedrooms and five bathrooms, three full and two half, in 3,901 square feet. The primary suite is on the second floor, with a steam shower in its bath, and that floor also has a guest room with its own bath and an office that can serve as a bedroom. Two more guest bedrooms and a full bath are on the third floor, where one bedroom has a wall of windows facing the garden and the parkway. There are three fireplaces, in the living room, the den and the primary bedroom, and the detached garage includes a workout room. The property last sold for $1.35 million in 2006.
Mike Hosang of Carolina Real Estate Company was the listing agent, and Deirdre Stoker Vaillancourt of Meybohm Real Estate – Aiken represented the buyer.

At 4,089 square feet, it is the largest home in this week’s Top 5, yet it has the fewest bedrooms. All three bedrooms are on the main level, each with its own bath, and the home has four bathrooms in all, three full and one half. The rooms on its single story include a great room, a dining room and a sunroom, finished with hardwood and tile floors, high and tray ceilings, bookcases and a fireplace. A screened porch and an attached garage complete the home, which sits on a level lot of 0.71 acres.

No. 3 — $890,000 · 703 Big Holley Drive, Martinez, Georgia

Outdoor entertaining shaped the 2010 home in Martinez’s Rhodes Farm community that sold for $890,000. A screened porch looks over a private brick courtyard with a brick outdoor kitchen, where a Lynx infrared gas grill and side burner sit beside a Big Green Egg under a lighted arbor. Landscape lighting picks out the courtyard and its mature maple trees. The lot, at 10,716 square feet, is the smallest of the five.
Inside, the custom Kathy Owings home has 3,390 square feet on two stories, with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, three full and one half. Its kitchen has a six-burner Wolf rangetop, Miele appliances, a walk-in pantry and a butler’s pantry with a wet bar, and it opens to a family room with a coffered ceiling and a gas fireplace. The owner’s suite is on the main level, with a soaking tub and a large walk-in shower. Upstairs are three more bedrooms: one with its own bath and two sharing a Jack-and-Jill bath. The community has a park, trails and sidewalks. The property last sold for $89,250 in 2010.

No. 4 — $772,500 · 235 Commonwealth Way, Aiken, South Carolina

On a cul-de-sac in Aiken’s Woodside Plantation, a 2014 brick home on the golf course sold for $772,500. It is in the gated Reserve at Woodside, along the Hollow Creek Preserve Course near the 14th green, and its screened porch looks over the course and a landscaped backyard. A stone-paved patio and a front porch with room for rocking chairs add more space outdoors. Residents have access to The Reserve Club, with golf, tennis, pickleball and a pool among its amenities.
The Traditional home has four bedrooms and four bathrooms, three full and one half, in 3,412 square feet on a 0.40-acre lot. The property last sold for $109,900 in 2013, before the current house was built.
The home went under contract eight days after it was listed. The Cline Team and Joshua Lee Cline, both of Meybohm Real Estate – Aiken, were the listing agents, and Hannah Elizabeth Robbins of Woodside Dev Limited Partnership represented the buyer.

No. 5 — $712,550 · 223 Marsdale Drive, Grovetown, Georgia

The newest home on the list, completed in 2026, also has the most land: 1.72 acres in the Marshall Mills community in Grovetown, with a pond and a stream on the lot. The new construction sold for $712,550, above its asking price of $699,900.
First Choice Home Builders built it on its Trenton plan, customized here to five bedrooms, which ties it with the top sale for the most on the list. The two-story home has 3,285 square feet, four bathrooms, three full and one half, and a two-car garage. Hardwood floors cover the main living areas, and the open kitchen has granite counters, a farm sink, double ovens, a gas cooktop, a custom vent hood and a walk-in pantry.
