
The five highest-priced home sales reported in the Augusta-Aiken metro area for the week ending October 4, 2026, came to a combined $5.789 million. The list crossed the state line: three of the homes are in South Carolina and two are in Georgia, spread over Aiken, Columbia, McCormick and Burke counties.
Aiken accounted for two of the five, and together those sales came to $2,624,000. All five are single-family homes, ranging from a 1986 estate in Martinez to a home completed in 2024 in Hephzibah, and the fifth-ranked sale has the largest tract on the list, at 41.49 acres.
No. 1 — $1,399,000 · 8285 Covert Dr, Aiken, South Carolina

Kalista Manor South, as the property is known, was built for riders. It sits on 5.56 acres in the Bridle Creek Equestrian Community in Aiken, and the land is laid out around the horses: a 90-by-200-foot professional arena with a clay base and arena sand for dressage and jumping, a four-stall barn, five pastures, a dry medical paddock and two matted run-in shelters out in the fields.
The barn is finished to a high standard, with a climate-controlled tack room, a half bath, a wash rack with hot and cold water, laundry hookups and a covered bay that can be put to other uses. The property backs to a private reserve with access to trails, and the wider community has miles of riding trails, its own dressage and jumping arenas, a cross-country course and a clubhouse.

No. 2 — $1,365,000 · 758 Old Stevens Creek Road, Martinez, Georgia

The oldest home on the list is also the largest. Built in 1986 on 2.61 acres along Old Stevens Creek Road in the West Port area of Martinez, the two-story home has 5,301 square feet, four bedrooms and five bathrooms. No homeowners association governs the property, and Evans and Augusta are minutes away. The property last sold for $665,000 in 2016.
The home has two owner’s suites. The one on the main level has his-and-hers closets and a renovated bath with a walk-in tiled shower and a soaking tub. The second is upstairs, as are two more bedrooms that each have a private renovated bath with a walk-in shower. The upper floor also has a playroom above the garage and a storage closet that is heated and cooled.

No. 3 — $1,225,000 · 270 Fox Tail Ct, Aiken, South Carolina

No. 4 — $950,000 · 261 Lee Drive Lot 92-A, Modoc, South Carolina

At 0.29 acres, this is the smallest lot of the five, and it is on the water. The lakefront home in Modoc Shores sits on a cove with views across the lake, and a new double-deck dock with a boat slip gives it direct use of the water. The home is about 20 minutes from Augusta by Highway 28.
Built in 2008, the home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,803 square feet. Hardwood floors and a vaulted ceiling define the great room. The two-story home has five bedrooms, three bathrooms and 3,299 square feet, with front and rear porches, an entrance foyer and hardwood, tile and carpeted floors. The kitchen has an island and a pantry with space for meals, and a formal dining area and a separate flex room give the owners rooms to use as they choose. The garage faces the side. The property is near the greater Augusta area and Fort Gordon.
