Augusta, Georgia Metro Area Top 5 Home Sales: Aiken Takes Four Spots, Led by a $1.43 Million Horse Farm

A 30-acre training farm in Aiken’s horse country sold for $1,425,000, the highest-priced home sale reported in the Augusta, Georgia metro area for the week ending August 16, 2026.

The week’s five highest-priced reported sales combined for $5.87 million. Aiken, South Carolina accounted for the top three closings and the No. 5 sale, and Evans, Georgia took No. 4.

The roster spans Olde Aiken, Woodside-Reserve, Jones Creek and Woodside Plantation, and more than a century of building: an 1892 winter colony house near downtown Aiken, a 1989 traditional home, a 1993 brick estate on a golf course, the 2008 farmhouse that led the week and a 2012 lakefront residence.

No. 1 — $1,425,000 · 1063 Colbert Bridge Rd, Aiken, South Carolina

Top home sale No. 1 in the Augusta, Georgia metro area β€” 1063 Colbert Bridge Rd, Aiken, South Carolina, week ending August 16, 2026

The week’s highest reported price went to a working horse farm on the edge of Aiken. 1063 Colbert Bridge Rd sold for $1,425,000 in a closing dated August 14, 2026, its 30 acres carrying a turnkey multi-discipline training operation, a pond and planned turnout, with a further parcel of roughly 18 acres offered separately.

The 2008 house holds three bedrooms, an office and a flex room in a reported 2,575 square feet, with soaring ceilings, exposed beams and a stone fireplace in the great room, and custom cabinetry and bar seating in the open kitchen.
