A 1954 house on a Kailua canal changed hands for $3.77 million, the highest-priced of the five home sales reported in the Urban Honolulu, Hawaii metro area for the week ending August 16, 2026. Together the five closings came to $14.78 million.

Kailua carries both the top sale and the No. 5 closing, Honolulu addresses take Nos. 3 and 4, and Haleiwa on the North Shore takes No. 2. The five sales span Kailua Estates, Sunset Area, Wilhelmina, Dowsett and Kalaheo Hillside, with build years running from 1954 to 2014. eXp Realty held the listing side at No. 2 and at No. 5.
