Adwerx Launches Canva Integration for Real Estate Agent Ad Campaigns

Adwerx Launches Canva Integration for Real Estate Agent Ad Campaigns

Adwerx, a digital advertising platform built for real estate agents and brokerages, launched an integration with design platform Canva on Monday that lets agents pull designs directly into ad campaigns without downloading or re-uploading files.

The integration, detailed in a post on Adwerx’s own blog, connects a user’s Canva account to Adwerx’s ad builder through a one-time authorization. From there, agents can browse their Canva design library inside Adwerx and import a design for each ad placement with a single click. The platform automatically exports the design at the correct dimensions for each channel — 1,080 by 1,080 pixels for Facebook and Instagram, 300 by 250 pixels for web display ads — and shows a preview inside the ad builder before targeting, bidding and optimization run automatically.

Aimed at agents building their own brand

Adwerx serves real estate agents, mortgage professionals, insurance carriers, wealth managers, financial services firms and franchises, offering listing ads, zip-code-targeted campaigns, streaming TV commercials, video ads, retargeting, sphere-of-influence advertising and digital out-of-home placements, along with enterprise solutions for brokerages. The company said the Canva integration targets individual agents who build their own marketing creative for personal branding, listing campaigns or sphere marketing, as well as brokerages managing campaigns at scale.

The integration is available immediately to all Adwerx customers at no additional cost, and works with either free or paid Canva accounts.

Removing a workflow bottleneck

Before the integration, an agent designing a listing graphic or social ad in Canva had to export the file, save it locally, then upload it separately into Adwerx’s ad builder and manually resize or reformat it for each ad placement’s dimensions. That multi-step process is a common source of friction for agents who are not full-time marketers and often manage their own campaigns between showings and closings. By pulling designs directly from an agent’s existing Canva library and auto-formatting them per placement, Adwerx is targeting the handoff between creative design and ad distribution rather than the design process itself, leaving Canva’s editing tools untouched.

What it means

Many real estate agents already use Canva to design flyers, social posts and listing graphics, so removing the download-and-reupload step between Canva and an ad platform addresses a real workflow friction point rather than adding a novel capability. The move fits a broader pattern RealtyWire has tracked of established proptech vendors integrating with mainstream productivity and design tools rather than building competing creative suites from scratch, similar to how Lone Wolf has layered AI tools onto its existing brokerage platform rather than launching a standalone product. What to watch: whether Adwerx extends similar direct integrations to other design or content tools agents already use, and how quickly adoption grows now that the integration is live for its full customer base.
