These are the five highest-priced home sales reported in the Anderson & Lake Hartwell Area, South Carolina for the week ending November 1, 2026, and together they came to $3.53 million. All five are two-story single-family homes in Anderson County, three of them in Pendleton and two in Anderson.
The group runs from a lakefront property with its own covered dock to new Craftsman designs, one of them still to be built, along with an older Cape Cod set well back from the road. Two of the five were listed by the same agent, in the same Pendleton neighborhood.
No. 1 — $950,000 · 202 Plantation Point, Anderson, South Carolina

The top sale of the week is a waterfront home on Lake Hartwell, and the water is the point. The 0.80-acre lot has about 190 feet of shoreline, and the depth off the property runs to roughly 27 feet at full pool. A covered dock measuring 40 by 26 feet sits at the water, and the water suits boating, fishing and swimming. The community has no homeowners association, and Portman Marina is a few minutes away, with I-85 within easy reach.
The traditional home, built in 1988 and finished in stone and cement siding, has about 3,550 square feet of living space, four bedrooms and four bathrooms, two full and two half. All four bedrooms are on the main level, including the primary suite, which has a jetted tub, a separate walk-in shower and a walk-in closet. An elevator connects the floors. The home also has cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, two fireplaces and a dedicated office. A screened porch looks out over the lake.
A finished daylight basement with walk-out access adds more living and recreation space. There is also a finished workshop, heated and cooled, that could serve as a studio, a gym or space for a home business. A three-car garage and a 50-amp hookup for an RV complete the property. It last sold for $280,000 in 1997.
The home sold for $950,000. Chappelear and Associates of Western Upstate Keller William was the listing agent, and Katie Tillman of BuyHartwellLake, LLC represented the buyer.
