No. 1 — $1,699,900 · 11969 Bean Rd, Chardon, Ohio

Top home sale No. 1 in Cleveland East Side & Chagrin Valley, Ohio β€” 11969 Bean Rd, Chardon, Ohio, week ending November 1, 2026

The top sale of the week came with the most land of the five: 27.41 acres in Chardon, reached by a tree-lined drive and bordered by a nature preserve. The home at 11969 Bean Road sold for $1,699,900. Built in 2019, the stone-and-stucco Colonial has six bedrooms, four bathrooms and 5,443 square feet on two stories, with a full walk-out basement below.

Inside, the centerpiece is a two-story great room under a coffered ceiling, and the dining room has a lighted tray ceiling. The kitchen is built for cooks who entertain, with Cambria counters, professional appliances and doubled dishwashers, ovens and microwaves. The primary suite is on the first floor, with hardwood floors and separate his and hers closets and bath areas. The home was planned for accessibility: an elevator stops on three levels, and a wheelchair lift runs from the garage to the first floor.

Outdoors, a three-season screened porch leads to a custom patio, a pavilion and a waterfall. The grounds include a stocked pond of about a quarter acre, more than half a mile of chip-and-seal trails, a small cabin, a heated and cooled workshop and garage space for seven vehicles. A 17-kilowatt ground-mounted solar array supplies power, backed by a whole-house generator, and a radiant snow-melt system keeps the front porch and sidewalk clear.

The home went under contract 14 days after it was listed and sold at its full asking price. Sharon M Hornak of Howard Hanna was the listing agent, and Claire Jazbec of Keller Williams Greater Cleveland Northeast represented the buyer.

Top home sale No. 2 in Cleveland East Side & Chagrin Valley, Ohio β€” 312 Woodridge Ln, Moreland Hills, Ohio, week ending November 1, 2026

The second-highest sale was a home not yet finished. The main floor is laid out openly, with a large great room flowing into the dining room and a kitchen built around a center island, along with a first-floor library or study. The finishes call for hardwood floors, lighted custom built-ins and eight-foot doors across the first floor, and there is a full basement and an attached two-car garage.
