No. 1 — $1,195,000 · 6360 Bluestem Rd S, Hamel, Minnesota

Top home sale No. 1 in Maple Grove & Hennepin Suburbs, Minnesota β€” 6360 Bluestem Rd S, Hamel, Minnesota, week ending November 1, 2026

The oldest home in this week’s group is also the largest. Built in 2006 in the Summerhill neighborhood of Hamel, the two-story home has 5,052 square feet, five bedrooms and five bathrooms, and it sits on 1.51 acres on a quiet cul-de-sac. Charles Cudd built it, and the current owners have since updated it from the main level to the bedrooms upstairs.

On the main level, the hardwood floors were refinished in a matte finish, and the walls were repainted in neutral tones. The kitchen was redone with new quartz countertops, an enameled island and stainless steel appliances. A gas fireplace adds warmth, and the home also has a front porch and a screened porch.

Upstairs, the primary bathroom was fully remodeled, as was a Jack and Jill bathroom, and four more bedrooms are on that floor. The full basement is finished, with a walkout and storage space. The property last sold for $715,000 in 2009, and it sold this time for $1,195,000.

The home went under contract 25 days after it was listed. Lynn Reiners of Compass was the listing agent, and Jodi Reichow of LPT Realty, LLC represented the buyer.

That level also has a large family room, and the basement takes in daylight.

The main floor is open, with hardwood floors and wood shutters throughout. An office sits just off the entry. In the kitchen, a large center island is paired with granite countertops, stainless steel appliances and plenty of cabinets, and the living and dining areas adjoin it. The home has two fireplaces, finished in brick and stone.

All four bedrooms are on the upper floor, along with the laundry. The primary bath has a soaking tub, a walk-in tile shower, two vanities and a large walk-in closet. In all, the home has five bathrooms and 4,404 square feet.
