Five single-family homes, each in a different city, made up the highest-priced home sales reported in Lakeland-Winter Haven / Polk County, Florida for the week ending November 1, 2026. Together they sold for a combined $4.65 million.
The list runs from Frostproof and Lake Wales to Winter Haven, Davenport and Saint Cloud, and it takes in lake frontage, a golf course homesite and a mid-century landmark.
No. 1 — $1,200,000 · 1109 Minute Mann Road, Frostproof, Florida

The week’s top sale was a French Colonial home on 2.02 acres in Cody Villa Estates in Frostproof, which sold for $1,200,000. Built in 2025, the home overlooks Crooked Lake. The property last sold for $140,000 in 2024, before the current home was built.
The detail starts at the entry, where a solid iron door set with glass panes opens to a foyer with arched doorways, a decorative ceiling and a stone accent wall. In the living room, exposed wood beams cross the ceiling, tall windows take in the lake and a stone wall rises from floor to ceiling around an electric fireplace. The living room opens to the kitchen, where a 9-by-5.5-foot island is topped in Taj Mahal quartz and a walk-in pantry has built-in cabinetry. The dining room has a tray ceiling.
The home has four bedrooms, three full baths and a half bath, and 4,000 square feet of living space. The primary suite has its own electric fireplace set in stone, and its walk-in closet is built of solid poured concrete to serve as a hurricane-safe room.
Sliding glass doors open to a covered patio. The heated Roman-style pool measures 18 by 30 feet and has a tanning shelf, and a fire pit area looks toward the sunset over Crooked Lake. A four-car carport is joined to the home by a covered brick-paver breezeway, and there is an attached two-car garage. The listing describes a private suite of about 1,200 square feet above the garage, with a bedroom, an office, a kitchenette, a full bath and a bonus room, and says that apartment was to be completed within 30 days.
The home went under contract 17 days after it was listed. Debbie Bradbury of REAL ESTATE BROKERS USA, INC. was the listing agent, and Erin Floyd of COLDWELL BANKER REALTY represented the buyer.

No. 2 — $999,999 · 4300 Timberlane Road, Lake Wales, Florida

In Lake Wales, a 2009 home on the shore of Lake Pierce sold for $999,999. Its 4.31 acres make it the largest lot of the five, with more than 275 feet of lakefront and a 75-foot dock with two covered boat lifts.
The exterior walls are concrete block faced with brick. Double front doors open to a foyer, and from the living room a bank of windows and French doors looks out to the lake and leads to the lanai. Ten-foot ceilings run through the split floor plan. The living and dining rooms open into the family room and kitchen, which has a prep island, hardwood cabinets, a walk-in pantry and granite counters. A dining nook sits beside the family room, where there is a wood-burning fireplace.
The home has five bedrooms, four bathrooms and 3,139 square feet. The primary suite has two walk-in closets and a bath with a garden tub and a steam shower, and French doors open from it to the lanai. Upstairs, a bonus suite with its own full bath, walk-in closet and air conditioning has a door to a small balcony.
The screened pool and covered lanai are reached from the living and family rooms. Care was taken to keep the native Florida landscape while leaving the lake views open, and the grounds include a natural cypress-tree garden cove. Utilities run underground, and a whole-house generator serves the property.
John Brackin of KELLER WILLIAMS TAMPA PROPERTIES was the listing agent for the week’s second-highest sale.

No. 3 — $875,000 · 1540 N Lake Mirror Drive NW, Winter Haven, Florida

The oldest home among the five is The Guest House, a 1967 Mid-Century Modern residence on Lake Mirror in the Mirro Mac neighborhood of Winter Haven. Architect Gene Leedy designed and built it, and it was commissioned for Thelma Guest. It sold for $875,000.
Leedy’s design combines precast concrete, cantilevered forms, deep overhangs and walls of glass. A two-story glass entry opens into an interior atrium, and an open staircase and the original vintage elevator connect the two levels. The main living spaces are upstairs, where expanses of glass look over the pool, the shoreline and oaks hung with Spanish moss, and long covered balconies run off nearly every bedroom and living area. Downstairs, more living areas surround the atrium and open to the pool and the lakefront grounds. The heated, salt-filtered pool is framed by Leedy’s double-T beams and broad covered patios.
The home has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and 3,885 square feet on 0.63 acres at the end of a cul-de-sac. Lake Mirror gives access to the Winter Haven Chain of Lakes, a system of more than 20 lakes, and a public boat ramp is immediately next door. Solar panels, a circular drive and two covered carports are among its other features.
The home went under contract three days after it was listed. Michael Stone of THE STONES REAL ESTATE FIRM and Deanna Stone of THE STONES REAL ESTATE FIRM were the listing agents, and Katie Melson of THE STONES REAL ESTATE FIRM represented the buyer.
