No. 4 — $3,100,000 · 8728 Arbor Commons Ln, Concord, North Carolina

The one sale outside Charlotte was also the largest home of the week. A Simonini-built estate at 8728 Arbor Commons Lane in Concord sold for $3,100,000. It is in Arbor Oaks, a gated community of twenty homes, and its 2.07-acre corner lot is the biggest of the five.
Built in 2006, it is the oldest home in the group, and its exterior has since been reworked. The brick is now painted white and set off by black shutters, with a synthetic slate roof above. The property also has a circular driveway and a porte-cochere. With 10,481 square feet, seven bedrooms and 10 baths, six full and four half, it has more living space, bedrooms and baths than any of the other four.
A curved staircase climbs through a two-story foyer, and the formal living rooms lead to a keeping room with a fireplace; the great room has a fireplace too. The Vanderloc kitchen is finished in Calcutta marble and equipped with a Wolf dual-fuel range, a full-size Sub-Zero and a built-in Miele espresso machine. A lighted walk-in pantry, a scullery and a butler’s pantry handle the work behind the scenes. The primary suite is on the main level, with heated floors in the bath, a euro-style shower and a custom closet.
The finished lower level, which has walk-out access, is built for recreation. It has a theater, a gym fitted with Rogue equipment and a rec room with a custom-lit dance floor, along with a four-person Finnleo sauna and a cold plunge. The saltwater pool is custom concrete, with a slide, a spillover spa and a rain curtain, and brick terraces on two levels surround it. A restored pergola, a balcony and a rooftop terrace add more places to spend time outside. The property last sold for $2.575 million in 2024.
Jay White and Greg King, both of Keller Williams Ballantyne Area, were the listing agents, and Lindsey Turner of Call It Closed International Inc represented the buyer.

A guest bedroom on the main floor can also work as a second primary suite.
