Northeast Valley, Arizona Top 5 Home Sales: New Paradise Valley Contemporary Leads at $9.8 Million

The five highest-priced home sales reported in Northeast Valley, Arizona for the week ending October 25, 2026, totaled $30.625 million. Three were in Paradise Valley and two were in the Desert Mountain community of Scottsdale, with prices running from $9,750,000 down to $4,700,000.

The group spans nearly three decades of building, from a Santa Barbara and Tuscan-style estate completed in 1998 to a contemporary finished this year, and Compass agents were the listing agents on three of the five sales.

No. 1 — $9,750,000 · 5909 E Sanna Street, Paradise Valley, Arizona

Top home sale No. 1 in Northeast Valley, Arizona β€” 5909 E Sanna Street, Paradise Valley, Arizona, week ending October 25, 2026

The top sale of the week was a newly built contemporary on a cul-de-sac in Paradise Valley, completed in 2026 and set on 1.40 acres, the largest lot among the five. The single-story home has 7,110 square feet of living space and four bedrooms, each with its own bath, with five full and two half baths in all.

Mummy Mountain is the focal point. Inside, cantera stone, black-framed glass and wood ceilings lead the eye toward it, and the great room’s wall of glass slides away entirely to join the room to the backyard. There, the pool and a raised spa are sheltered by a floating steel pavilion that faces the mountain.

The kitchen centers on a double waterfall island in honed Breccia Olimpica marble. A full-size Miele range sits beneath a black stone hood, and a second, fully equipped kitchen is tucked out of sight behind the main one. The formal dining room wraps around a glass-enclosed wine wall. Elsewhere are a mudroom, a flex room, a private office and a theater lounge with its own bar.

The primary suite has a freestanding soaking tub with a window of its own, a 60-inch linear fireplace set into floor-to-ceiling travertine, and glass that frames the mountains. A detached pool house is equipped for entertaining with a beverage refrigerator, an ice maker and a grill. The property last sold for $2.6 million in 2023, before the current home was built.

Nicholas A Toon and Jordan Wobig of RETSY were the listing agents on the week’s highest-priced sale, and Natalia Ashley of Compass represented the buyer.

Top home sale No. 2 in Northeast Valley, Arizona β€” 10212 E Filaree Lane, Scottsdale, Arizona, week ending October 25, 2026

Architect Wendell Pickett, a co-designer of Desert Mountain’s 7 community, designed this 2020 contemporary in Scottsdale’s Desert Mountain. The home sits on a 1.14-acre corner lot on a cul-de-sac, next to a 15-acre natural arroyo, and its living level rests above a temperature-controlled garage with space for 10 cars, the most of any home in this group. An elevator connects the two.

That raised position opens wide mountain views and adds privacy. The kitchen pairs Bulthaup cabinetry with Gaggenau appliances, the home is run by a Lutron automation system, and a medical-grade IQ Air system filters the air. The 5,202-square-foot home has four bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath, along with three fireplaces, one of them outdoors, and a heated pool and spa.

The Sonoran Clubhouse, with its dining, fitness center, full-service spa and pickleball courts, is steps from the home. The property last sold for $5.3 million in 2021.

Barry Conser and Alan Surges of Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty were the listing agents, and Sally Cashman of The Noble Agency represented the buyer.

Built in 1998, the oldest home in this Top 5 is also the largest, with 8,236 square feet of living space, six bedrooms and seven full baths plus a half bath, the most bedrooms and bathrooms of the five. The Santa Barbara and Tuscan-style estate sits on 1.01 acres near Camelback Country Club, behind a deep front yard, with views of Mummy Mountain.

The floor plan is split. Three guest suites, each with its own bath and walk-in closet, are grouped around a central flex room, while a fourth sits just outside the primary wing. The primary suite has two closets, separate vanities, a steam shower, a soaking tub and a sitting area with a fireplace. The kitchen comes with an eat-in dining area, its own office, a butler’s pantry, a walk-in pantry and two dishwashers, and it flows into a walk-behind bar and the great room, where a wall of glass opens to broad covered patios.

The backyard is laid out around a wide lawn, with a custom pool that has a waterfall and a waterslide, a separate heated spa, a fire pit, an outdoor fireplace and a sport court. Top home sale No. 4 in Northeast Valley, Arizona β€” 9368 E Covey Trail, Scottsdale, Arizona, week ending October 25, 2026

This 2022 contemporary in Desert Mountain looks out over open desert and mountains from a 0.82-acre lot with a north-south orientation. Deep roof overhangs shade the back of the home, where expansive glass faces the views and large sliding doors open to covered patios. The 5,774-square-foot home has four bedrooms, four full baths and a half bath, and a 744-square-foot detached guest house adds a bedroom suite, a living room and a kitchenette.

Clerestory windows and wide-plank hardwood floors run through the main living areas, and the great room is centered on a fireplace that rises from floor to ceiling.
